Couldn't disagree more. The author clearly states his foucuses: Wii U, UE4-CryE3, PS4 & 720. And he talks about all of them. Weather he is being short sided or not is extremly subjective especially when he clearly states graphics will get better. Plus the main point of the article is obviously apparent. Next gen needs to be about gameplay & graphics.
Thats what I hope the next generation brings, less of the static environments and wonkey physics. Faster framerates, more polished animations. Hopefully the developers use the extra power for gameplay and graphincs not just eye candy.

Dude, relax... He told me to publish it because he felt that it might be true. We hear all sorts of rumors and NEVER post them. Our site mainly does opinion articles and news. The ONLY reason we posted this is because we feel it has a good possiblity of being true. We both felt it was important to state we don't trust this source all the time cause hes only right 25% of the time. But he has told us rumors that did come up to be true.
If you remember Retro had a few key staff members leave the company. Those distractions could have slowed the team down a bit. Or even the production of the 3DS game might have got them off track. Either way we all want this to happen.

He Clearly states its a rumor and he doesn't even trust the source of where he got it from. But he felt it was necessary to post because it is not out of the realm of possibilty.

If someone can be so critical about the Wii U who hasn't even played it. Whats wrong with defending the Wii when the author has played and experenced the system first hand. It can go both ways. The only problem with a lot of those games is they only run at 30 FPS. For me having a game run in a faster frame rate is important. The PS3 and 360 big budget games cant do native 720p 60 FPS. COD is sub HD and 60FPS but doesnt look anywhere near as good as The Last of Us. The Wii U's launch titles can do 720p 60 FPS easy and the Zelda demo was confirmed by Reggie to be in 1080p 60 FPS (yes it was in game engine not CGI or a cut scean) So Im most definetly ready for next gen.

Sony needs to get a affordable memory card in there at around the same price of sd memory. I got a 32 gb memory card for my 3ds for 27 bucks. Plus they need more exclusive games that arent ps3 ports. 3ds is doing well cause of the price, cheap memory and nice list of exclusive games.
What games does the vita have to justify getting the sales of the 3ds. Its clear to the gaming community right now the 3ds has a superior lineup of games.
