The Vita has been out for longer than the Wii U, and no, a system doesn't hit its "prime" till about 2-3 years in.
The PS3 didn't get going to Metal Gear Solid 4 came out in 2008.
Xbox 360 started going around the time Gears and COD 4 came out in 2007.
Wii was good from the start, but it really took off when Galaxy came out at the end of 07
So each system too about a year to 2 years to get going. Wii U h...

- Japanese gamers don't play western games that much. Nobody in Japan is getting hyped for Battlefield 4, Killzone Shadowfall, and Halo.
