It didn't take a year for New Super Mario Bros U to sell one million. Its way past that.
New Super Luigi U came out last summer. Nintendo Land is bundled with the system. Super Mario 3D Land came out in the same time period as all of these games. and has outsold all of the PS4 games.

Revenue wise that is a win for Nintendo. First party titles make far more revenue than third party titles for the big three.

I agree tech is advancing but how many paid services does Sony expect me to pay for? I have enough bills as it is.

I miss the 6th generation when you just bought a system, and played the games, online play was free for Sony. (7th gen) as well.
