That's not the concept at all. Ralph Baer invented video games (the Wright Brothers in your analogy). The popularization of the video games was done by Atari. This branched out with each passing generation as the natural course of a newly established entertainment industry.
To suggest Sony made it legit or popular is incredibly asinine, ignorant, arrogant and smacks those in the face that came before that DID popularize the industry.
If you want to giv...
Sony didn't legitimize gaming. The only people with this mind set either work for Sony or started gaming on the PS.
Sony needs to stop aggrandizing a notion that's not theirs to begin with.
I wondered the same thing. I can fiddling around with various button combinations in controller port 1 but this guy goes to work on port 3 AND just happens to get the timing down just right.
naturally he's not likely get the timing right the very first try so what impulse drives you to keep trying that exact combination, striving for that exact timing utilizing that exact controller port?
I'd say it's a bit of both. Nintendo is known for guarding their secrets quite well and gamers are known for playing Nintendo games for years after release.
I'll try this sometime soon on both GC and Wii and report back.
I'll have video as well.
Some of those screens for Xenoblade make it very hard to believe that's a Wii title.
I missed this while at E3 so to make up for it, I'm buying it day one.
Not sure what's better...this interview or the game.
won milyon truuups.
Extweeem.
Love the portal usage. Good script too.
Almost as good as Haloid.
Coded, I agree. Especially when a well established casual experience is already available for much cheaper.
Gotta be careful here. Sony said the Move bundle would be under $100 and it turned out to be $99. Cheaper than $150 could just mean $149.
Though I'll say a range between $99 and $129 when it releases.
Game definitely came out of left field. Rates up their with Kirby as biggest E3 surprise.
So much potential in a game, yet so much fail. Why do the gaming gods smite thee?
Wasn't quite that long but this is the first year they had 2 long of incredible length. Worse still is that when the doors opened the lines were already backed up from exhibitors.
There were even 30-60 minute lines for Metroid and Kirby.
They really should have leased a second booth section. They had the largest single booth space the convention center offers (same with Sony...they were side by side)but it simply was not enough.
Looks like a nice paced game. You're not rushing through as fast as possible and you color things as you like. I'll definitely check out the first one just before I grab this one.
So much love it or hate regarding PSN +. Haven't seen anything like this since Nintendo unveiled the Wii name.
^Nice name.
The Uncanny Valley shows itself as some features look amazing which allows the unnatural features and flaws to become more pronounced.
Needs a better balance.
Make that another person grabbing one at launch. I too went hands on with it and felt my skepticism fade very quickly which then gave way to giddiness.
That might be the oddest retort I've ever seen. You establish the legitimacy of the industry based on an extreme generalization of the on-screen characters and pixel height?
