Even if it's faster, it won't be a standard for a long time. A big chunk of PC gamers still game on an HDD, while every PS5 owner has the same SSD.

Which japanese devs are ignoring Sony? 98% of all japanese games are coming to PS consoles.
The main selling point for the Switch in japan is portability. I'm not saying the games aren't a reason (they are) just not the main reason. Look how the Wii U sold (Only 3,5 million lifetime) in comparison. It had great games but it wasn't doing anywhere near as well as the Switch. Why? Well, it was a stationary console.
As far as Sony goes.

Japan has been a handheld market for over decade now and the Switch is a handheld. So yeah.

Why remake a PS4 game? Just add a 4k/60 mode and be done with it. There are so many great PS1 games i'd much rather see. Like Legend of Dragoon, Vagrant Story, Parasite Eve, Syphon Filter, Metal Gear Solid, OG Tomb Raider trilogy etc.

Why should sony "save" virtua fighter? They have nothing to do with it. The Street Fighter deal made more sense to them, simply because it's a much bigger IP.
