Did you catch the point I was trying to make? I wasn't debating at all...
BOTTOM LINE: Don't hype up sh*t and you won't get disappointed.
PS: If you insist, here is what I know based on research.
1. Master Chief isn't the main character. Some other soldier is, hence it would be more like "ODST with better graphics" than Halo 4, no?
2. MW2 had insane hype built around it. Upon release, people found themselves disappointed in everyth...
Don't expect this to be Halo 4, people. If anything, it's Halo ODST with a new subtitle and better graphics.
If you get overexcited and let in to the hype, the smallest let-downs will make the game feel like a total downer.
Heavy Rain comes out later next month.
Going with SVER. I was them in the Beta and whooped a$$! haha, plus they had the least amount of people, but still won the overall in terms of killing and winning, I believe.
Sorry if I sound fanboyish, but I really wish Nintendo kept this part in their get rich quick plan.
It's definitely not entirely their fault (it's partly the non-gaming crowd for falling for it), but they could've at least done what I love about them from the past.... not giving a sh*t about what anyone thinks.
It's also a DVD upgrade!
jk
The Wii sold 9.6mil worldwide in 09.
You mean to tell me that you think the 360 outsold the Wii this year? Not to forget they clearly said "in the US".
You also have to remember it managed to make those numbers in 3 short months, and the 360 just barely outsold it by.
People said it would die after the Slim's release, but the sales have stayed constant, which was above the 360 for some time. If the 360 doesn't amaze in 2010, interest will fade and newer technology (PS3) will start to come in.
If you notice, the 360 was outselling the PS3 for total 2009 sales until the Slim came along.
Did you not notice that the PS3 just started selling well 3-4 months ago? Before then, the gap between the two would always fluctuate between larger and smaller. If you look at the numbers, the 360 was drifting away from PS3 for more than half of 2009... until September when the price drop and Slim were in full affect.
"ps3 fanboys buy yours PRECIUS exclusives please ;)"
We will if you take care of your 360... although that failure rate probably isn't your fault ;)
Explanation:
The 360 was launched in November 2005. By the time the PS3 launched in November 2006, the 360 sold close to 6 million units.
There's your explanation. Don't believe me?

They have to get Amazon and Wal-Mart on board! Those are big American retailers.
PSP.... whoa.
I gotta buy myself a 3000. I have 3 PSP games on my PS3 without any PSP (mine was lost).
oops, meant 3.8mil, not 2.8
EDIT: @Wrath... maybe because you're in a tunnel.... not PSN.
There he is!
I think Sony was the only company to survive releasing a $600 video game console. Many have tried it and failed miserably. Not only did Sony surpass the media hatred, but they came back, lowered the price and released some great games in the process.
They won't be trying that again. haha, relying on the "PlayStation" name was a risky risky move.
List of PS3 exclusives that sold over 1 million in the US alone:
LittleBigPlanet
Motorstorm
Resistance: Fall of Man
Metal Gear Solid 4 (2 million, actually)
Killzone 2
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
That I'm 100% sure on. GT5: Prologue might be in there, too.
UPDATE: Yeah, fish, gaffy's right. Motorstorm sold over 1.5mil in the US and Killzone 2 sold over 1 million in the US, too.
Yeah thanks we... just read that... two posts ago...
And that's 1.35 in NA for anyone who thought Sony was lying about 2.8mil at CES.
Anyone notice the PS2 selling just under half a million for one month in one country?
Now THAT'S a console!
Oh, and congrats to everyone else! Great numbers, especially to PS3 considering the US isn't it's strong point.
Probably because it's good.
