When I die, they can make jokes about me. I don't care.
I won't be around to read them or care.
The XBox 360 did to this girl, the same thing it did to the PlayStation 3.
What a crappy game with crappy graphics. I'm not sad to see it die.
Nobody should need a walkthrough for this game.
Infamous 2 is so great because it's so hard to get lost. The objectives are always very clear and there's always a way-point to go to. Everything pretty much shows up on your mini-map.
A guide would be useless in this game. Just play it and have fun. You don't need a book telling you what the game already does.
PS3 owners have so many exclusive games this year that they have to pick and choose what to pre-order.
The 360 has... Gears 3... wooo.
So of course the Uncharted 3 preorders are lacking. That reminds me... I gotta go pre-order U3 still... oops.
I knew this as soon as I saw the E3 2011 demo of NFS The Run being played on the PS3 at SONY's conference.
Awesome news anyway!
I'm excited because Black Box created all the Skate games and those were good. Skate 3 is exactly the same on both 360 and PS3 (they lead on PS3 with Skate 3 as well). This game is going to look and perform identically on both systems I presume.
Nathan Drake died many times in Uncharted 2 and I'm sure Uncharted 3 won't be any different. Some parts are just too hard! (edit: that's what she said!)
ALERT: Don't read this or you'll die!
Yes we do. I like the Call of Duty games (mostly IW's versions though).
If people like 'em... why not?
I agree with Raven_Nomad. If people didn't want a new Call of Duty every year, why is it always breaking sales records? Is someone forcing them to buy the new game (especially since there's still plenty of people playing MW2 and MW1)? No one is forced to buy Call of Duty every year... they just do because they like it.
One of my favorite games this generation. Geeze, I wish more games were this much fun!
Too many companies are focusing too much on realism and graphics and not enough on FUN! This game is just pure fun for me. I loved collecting blast shards, grinding power lines, flying, pushing people off buildings... just everything about this game just struck me in such a good way (no pun intended).
I want more games like this!
Quite frankly... I'm growing tired of FPS games. I think the industry is burning me out on the first person point of view. I like to see who I'm playing as sometimes.
Lately, I've been playing Infamous 2, GTA IV, Skate 3 and Uncharted 2. I'm starting to really love the third person view in these games and now when I play first person shooters, it seems too up in your face and the animations don't look right to me.
Games that are already out:
Burnout Paradise
Skate 3
Mute button. Problem solved!
Also, it's a video game. It's not realistic.
@egidem:
Actually, it takes them 2 years to make a Call of Duty title.
Activision doesn't develop the game, they PUBLISH IT.
Infinity Ward makes a new Modern Warfare game every 2 years
Treyarch makes a world war/cold war game every 2 years
Get your facts straight.
Also, how long as it been since the last Battlefield game?
You have Battlefield 2, Battlefield Bad Company and Battlef...
UNCHARTED 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
End of story.
Loooooove this game!
I'm getting the Hero Edition soon!
Aaaaaaaaaand how many games are still using the Unreal engine?
Just because MW3 is using the same (quake?) engine, doesn't mean they're not always improving it in one way or another.
Call of Duty graphics have changed over the years.
Excellent post. This is what's it's all about.
They'll both have their audiences.
Modern Warfare 3 - 60fps (no screen tearing) on consoles
Battlefield 3 - 30fps (alpha footage showed screen tearing) on consoles
Modern Warfare 3 is the winner in my eyes. Make the game run smooth and consistent and you've won me over.
Frostbite got him!!!
