All I keep reading is people saying, I will enjoy GOW this year, what else? and I'm not talking about already released games. Some do and some follow brand loyalty, some buy because of GP or PS+, some buy because they preferred controllers, some buy because they buy all systems, some buy because they can only afford one, some buy because they can only find one system currently, some buy because it's what their friends have and yes some buy because of exclusives.

I understand exclusives are indeed an important aspect of a console, but why are some people saying no games to play on Xbox? That statement is so false, there is plenty of 1st and 3rd party games, 1,000 to choose from and GP has over 400+ of them with games being added monthly, some being day 1 releases.

Oni, I agree with some of what you said, I was optimistic on a higher level. 1080P/60 would be fully workable on a handheld, and as you said add some compute power to the dock for dynamic 4k, they can have VRR to help.
As Stark Pointed out cellphones output some nice graphics, so a dedicated handheld can indeed produce higher results. I mean realistically the new Switch has to be stronger than the current one and anything above what it can produce now can put it on or close...

Live service games are not gonna thrive like they should being locked to one console, expecially if they are FtP. Destiny 3 or whatever it will be called will not be on PS only and that will be the strategy for the other Live service games as well..maybe not on Xbox, but definitely PC. People on here are thinking fan wishes, Sony is think fan dollars.

Great breakdown.
All these message borders seem to think they know how much MS is losing or gaining with GP. Companies are in it to make money and you can bet MS has a long-term goal, you don't create a service without having a plan, and from what I can tell it has been working, whether it's good PR, better sales, or gaining new customers. People act like MS is not making any money at all on GP which has about 30mill subs by now and still growing.

Stay away from GAAS? They have 10 live service games coming in the next 5 years. I think that is what this "Multi-platform" strategy entails. You are gonna be disappointed if you want them to stay away from GAAS because its part of their new strategy.

MS unlocked the safe and threw a few $ sign bags at UBIsoft. I think it's for a reason; to dampen any big impact PS++ will have on GP. I bet this will be revealed in June at the showcase and PS++ launch window.

This is the most pointless fanboy thread conversation in a long while. It is nothing short of some kind of bragging rights as this 2 game delay will not hurt their current success. The series is already the 2nd best selling systems in the U.S in 2022, people are buying Series consoles for GP, availability of systems and a great selection of games old and new. The 30 or very vocal console war message board dwellers won't change that...I can bet anyone that even with these delays there succ...
