Not to ruin it, but do you recall the end? they set it up for the next movie, strongly implying the next movie will be based on the game.
Until Dawn was surprisingly a enjoyable movie. I won't shout from the rooftops about it, but it was a nice Friday night out with the wife surprise...very fun and neatly done movie.

I think All MS games are coming to PS console...is just a matter of seeing if MS will do day and date with all titles, or stagger the bigger titles like Halo.

That game is really good, with fun mechanics, customization, big maps that is not bloated, a good story and just very polished overall.
I understand and agree that it's a dumb comment, and I don't agree with it at all.
But the reason he can confidently say that is because a large, very large portion of gamers buy MTX each and every day, and his comment wont matter that much as most gamers either don't really care, or a large portion don't read news like we do, they will continue to lap up that shiny new skin to be "in game cool" lol.

It lends to the "Everything is an Xbox" marketing they have going on...if it has a screen, it's a Xbox.
I don't see the harm here, it's a limited item...shit MS and Sony have Sneaker deals as well, are those necessary? Nope, but if you like PS or Xbox, or are a collector of limited edition of stuff then, why not?

Fantastic game! I will play it again when ths launches...I love this franchise and hope we get more of it.
I bet it will make top-selling list on PSN in August...despite all the hate on N4G for this game.
I don't like what I see, they should have just made a straight up 3d DK(3d Mario style) without the destruction, I imagine that is why the graphics look weak, big maps along with destruction cost too much.
Hell, I would have preferred DKC, with excellent graphics, using all the new bells and whistles, and high frame rates.
Scrap it, retool , and use some of the "best" assets of this game, maybe guns, abilities, ect.. and focus all the energy of your teams on Destiny 3... make it a PS6, PC and Xbox Launch window game.

You glossed over the many of the things i mentioned, like it not doing gangbusters on a console that has a way, way, larger userbase, the fact that the hype for the game was also killed by mid-reviews, late port and fans not even feeling like it's a FF game, as you said, we are on the internet, and saw they hype fade. The other point you ignored and at the same time bolstered, was the fact that there are a fair amount of objectively better RPGs .

Switch 2 just dropped for $450 with a $80 Mario Kart game, people ain't checking for FF16 on Xbox right now lol.
FF16 was shadow dropped.
It was a late port, that even when originally released on a more popular, higher userbase console didn't exactly set the world on fire sales wise, according to the developer.
The game got pegged as good, but not great, and hardly felt like a FF.
