Any game running on PS5 in 8 years will 100% run on a 3080.
Do you suspect that the 3080 cards wont work anymore? If it stinger now it will always be stronger. Optimization is the only difference, and with enough dev time you can optimize on either system.
My 2060 super PC runs every game very well...and my GTX 1650 laptop runs every game thrown at it at different levels with no problems.

Don't be sill man, Sony is a business and about making the most money possible, it has nothing to do with struggling or fanboy beliefs. Game production and services cost are growing each gen by a fair amount, games cost million to develop and services and servers are growing as the game industry is as big as it has ever been and cost is simply increasing.

Correct, I'm rocking a RTX 2060 super and while I want to upgrade, once cards go back to normal retail prices, I like the 2060 super. I am able to run any modern game at respectable levels and sometimes surprises me how good things run.

Sure they can, MS supports it, Sony Supports it and the vast majority of 3rd parties.
In a sense Techland is as well, they made ps4 and Xbox versions lol. They just 1/2 stepped on a few feature.

He said 'ALL" about, there are many factors, like making deals to get games on GP, AAA and Indies alike, cloud streaming, BC, features like VRR and DOLBY on console, DX12 implementation on PC development, partnerships with devs they don't own, and of course building an exclusive library is all part of the whole.
