They are not Hoarding IPs, they are offering it to any and all PC gamers, cell phone games, Xbox owners, and even OG Xbone users through streaming. All at a reasonable sub-price.
There are even some MS games on PS(Minecraft) and Switch(Minecraft and Ori series).
They own Windows and yet allow all other companies including Sony, Epic, Valve, and Nintendo to develop games fronts, games apps, daily use apps that far outpace their own efforts.
So are you implying MS has a game catalog better than Sony?

I played the game 2 times and it was fantastic sound, graphics, and atmosphere. Definitely better than a lot of so-called AAA games.

Platinum is smart to want games on GP or to be acquired by MS. While they have some good games under their belt, they don't sell gangbusters.

I think Techland should first look in the mirror before blaming the console. I'm playing on SX and the game is badly optimized, I can only stand to play the game in performance mode. The other modes with 30fps is really bad. I'm playing on an LG OLED with VRR and and that fancy stuff on and it still runs choppy(unless I play in 1080p) They also didn't take advantage of the SSD in the PS5 or SX..wtf is that about? 1000 bugs that needed fixing on day one and more still to be fixed....

Oh please, something huge my ass. They need to make money and this is the way the market is moving and they want to make more money. They are a company that sees where things are going and have to expand and adapt. There is no magic here, they are doing the same as MS, they just have fans that held on to some misguided fantasy that Sony was a benevolent entity that cares deeply about them.
They will make games similar to every other live service game, Destiny 2, overwatch, ...
