This game looks really cool and I'll probably pick it up. I'm glad that it's a PSN/XBL title so it comes in a little less expensive. Does anyone know the expected cost? I would assume $15-$20, but haven't heard anything yet.
I'm bummed they didn't fix any single player issues. I understand the big draw is mp, but I'm into the SP experience.
The friendly AI is extremely incompetent. It's well apparent and extremely annoying on the harder difficulties. It's almost like they don't want to shoot back and they're perfectly content just taking a few rounds in the face before responding.
I enjoy the game, it has promise and I have about 30 hours into it....
Yeah, whatever happened to the android app for the ps3? I heard it was live in Europe, but I haven't seen anything in the US yet.
Good luck!
It wasn't working working on my phone either, but here is the link from ea.com

It's at Amazon.com
I am really starting to think that also. It makes me feel bad complaining about the outage when all these people are going through so much worse.
The only big deal, is that we are missing out on the SOCOM online play. It really sucks about the timing, with the big online releases this week (Socom4, Portal2 and MK). Personally, I've been kicking ass adn progressing through SOCOM SP, but am really starting to get the itch for MP...
PS-wifey hates that it was SOCOM week. Brings her back to the college days, when my buddies and I would play online for hours...
I agree with the writer. I prefer tps over fps for the most part (R6V as the exception). I couldn't imagine UC2 or Vanquish as FPS, it simply wouldn't work. However, a good comparison, would be BFBC2 to SOCOM. In the end, it's all just preference anyways...
I'm going back and forth on picking up the move/sharpshooter combo with SOCOM next week. I am hesitant due to the lack of games and hopefully isn't a fad. It seems cool enough and I'm leaning towards picking it up, but It's a lot of money for something without a whole lot of software options...
Totally agree. Who keeps the box for the Playstation??? The guy was preparing for this legal battle for a long time...
Who's this guy??? 99.99% of people really like Kevin. I'm a huge fan of his humor.
*Guardian (sp)....
SOCOM 4 and Twisted Metal for this guy. Can't wait! I'm taking a wait-and-see approach to Last Guarding. I've never played an ICO game, but they apparently get rave reviews. I just want more info on the upcoming title. Anyone have any decent links that have more info, other than the four or five screen shots they published?
Generation Kill was an outstanding read and everyone should appreciate Blackhawk Down and what those men went through. Hurt Locker was a great movie, but shouldn't be tied to the other two as far as military simulations or story lines. The roles the guys were playing were EOD technicians one minute, then snipers/rangers, then civil affairs/CIA agents-so not realistic at all. I question if they are just saying this since the hurt locker did well in the box office.

I know it's made by Sony, I'm just saying that EA burned me out with buying sports games every year in general by basically releasing the same game annually with just a roster update. I just don't know if this will be worth the $60 if it's just a roster update.
I totally agree that it's the best baseball game I've ever played! However, since I own last year's game, why would I buy the same game again? What do you think would justify the purchase...
I'm going back and forth on a day 1 purchase for this game. I've got last year's and absolutely love it, but EA has me concerned with sports games. I fear that I'm going to pay for a roster update like madden, and not a new experience. All I've heard that's different is the new control scheme, which is totally cool, but not worth $60 imo. Are the graphics and gameplay that much different?
Besides, my Twins lost O-Dog and JJ Hardy as my double play ...
I remember EA did something like this with Dead Space prior to the Dead Space 2 release. I picked up the original for $10 off their website and couldn't be happier. I just ordered my UC2 copy off amazon and I hope it lives up to the hyper.
I hope this trend continues, as it can be a good deal for gamers with tight pockets. It's better than picking up a used copy, imo.
It's not expired yet. You have to go to the right, under 'More Buying Choices'. I just ordered my copy. The problem is that it says it will ship in 2-4 weeks, so that might be the catch...
I wish they would allow you to play your own music from the PS3, i.e. MLB 10: The Show.
Some good tunes on this list though.
