Nice, I wasn't sure how well this was going to turn out but its looking pretty promising even from this early of a stage, hopefully the framerate keeps up.
She's the 'hide and seek' champion
(booooo... what a terrible thing to say)
Hard to see the conrols working like RE4 in those games though, they were built totally different, they would have to remake the games with the same engine as RE4. That totally changes everything and probably be quite a bit of work, if these are ports I just don't see it happening, unfortunatly.
RE4 did sell very well but I think thats due in part to the fact that the controls worked so well for it (And that it's a great game, obviously) but how well would the Wii controls work with the old, tank-like control style?
There are a lot of areas in RE1 and 0 where you cant exactly see the enemy on-screen so the "point and shoot" style gameplay of RE4 doesn't necessarily work with the old static-backround format. I'd like to see how they would handle this..
You almost became a Jill Sandwich
That's Capcom for you, look what they did with Bionic Commando: Rearmed, a lot of those achievements are ridiculous!
Totally love it though, games need challenges like this to keep people interested otherwise WiiWare/Live/PSN games would be a single play-through most of the time.
BAH - I thought the XBLA version was coming on Sept 24th :(
I feel ripped off now that I have to wait an extra week and a half to play, though I could get it on the Wii but ehhh...
Eh, played the demo on the 360 on my 42" LCD through HDMI and yeah the graphics are pretty plastic like much of the UT3 engine models. The gameplay is ok, but will probably get old REALLY fast. AI is dumb as hell. I will not be buying this title.
"And I want to play Mega Man 9!"
Don't tell anyone, but it's coming out on the 360 and PS3 too :)
Mercs 2 demo, wooo, finally get to try it out.
I Wish they had an event in Foxboro, I'd go haha
Blegh, I guess I've grown out of Sonic, is this suppose to be like Devil May Cry with its combo hit system?? Stretchy arms as a werehog? what the heck is all this nonsense :(
Pretty nice, loved the Max Payne games, I may dig out the first one again and rip through it again now, haven't played it on a newer PC (last one was a 500MHz P3 with a 16MB video card lol)
totally possible since its the same pattern every time :P
C-C-C-C-Combo Breaker!
As long as they keep that, I'm happy.
Neat! Would be even cooler if they can get the indoor lighting to work without it being "Full Bright" but all ambient lighting, that takes quite some extra work though and this already looks pretty great thus far.
This game really doesn't look that bad, there are a lot of things going on on the screen which takes up a good ammount of processing power moving those models around since it's in "real time" (your character can still move around) while a lot of action is going on. It does look a little on the generic side, but I have a soft spot for mythology so it's sort of interesting to me, where it may not be for others. I'm not saying it will be a system seller but I think it will be a decent ...
No one said anything about gays...
GameSpy: "Well, the constant sweating was unconfortable and the heavy breathing made me uneasy - Gabe did, however, bring his own keyboard and mouse specifically made for his stubby, sausage fingers which was nice of him since we didn't need his chicken grease all over our devices"
About friggn' time.
I'm pretty glad Microsoft is actually stepping up and trying to do something about companies like this. No one should have the kind of trouble with a PC that software like that creates and (to the gullible - aka Grandma and Grandpa who do not know enough about a computer to know better) has you PAY for a service that is totally pointless to pay for in the first place!
