Metroid Prime was pretty damn good, but yeah, I still put Super Metroid above it. Other M I have not played yet, so can't really speak about that one, but the reviews pretty much do enough of the talking for that game...

Earthbound and/or Chrono Trigger could replace NBA Jam though for must-owns (Although CT is available on the PS1 and DS now)
Good article, although it clearly hates on Call of Duty. There are a million other examples of regenerating health this generation, and I guess hating on the "Big Guy" is the cool thing to do? Either way, I like having a health bar in my games.
Mass Effect 1 v.s. Mass Effect 2, for example. I enjoyed the team-HUD better for ME1, as it gave a more accurate readout for everyone's health and shield, including your own. ME2's is OK because it doesn't take up...

I'll keep my copy of Super Mario All-Stars w/World... Nintendo really should have done much better than this for the silver anniversary of beloved Italian plumber Mario, a shame really.
Either way, they look more comfortable to hold than the standard move controllers for SHOOTAN games, as long as the "scope" on the rifle doesn't hinder the use of the buttons on the main controller.

Who is to say that she wasn't an emotional wreck prior to this game? They may not have showed signs of it during older games because most of them were pretty void of any hard back round story for Samus other than "Bounty Hunter. Metroids. Mother Brain. Pew Pew Pew."
From the looks of it so far, it's going to surpass the horror of Dead Space 1. Some of the new creatures are cringe-inducing, like the puker. If anything, its going to be more over-the-top gore.

I'm pretty sure I can still beat Mario Bros. 2 in 12 minutes, haven't tried in a while but that is a fun speedrun.
Another impressive speedrun I've seen is 100% in Super Metroid in about 59 minutes. CRAZY
As stated above, its for Wii and DS. Also, Blood Stone is a totally different game built from scratch, no movie license attached at all.
