This game is actually quite awesome and I'm disappointed that it is not selling well. I watched the development of it pretty closely and EA did roll with a LOT of the fans suggestions to do an On-rails shooter correctly and with a slick drop-in drop-out co-op option for multi player.
Seriously, if you're a Wii owner and are old enough to buy this game, go do it! it deserves a lot more respect than what it's been getting and honestly blows any other 'on-rails' game on the Wii righ...
No Chrono Trigger? It was on the SNES first before the PS1, and then later the DS.
Terrible list :\
So does this work without all the 3D non-sense as well? Would like to see how the game runs at least :P
Yeah seriously, I'm an avid MegaMan fan but this seems like a pretty deep secret to unfold, though it could just be nothing special, as its already been explained that its not an in-game item or weapon so other than that, its some developer graphic hidden somewhere or peice of code that will be unlocked at some point (6months?)
Fantastic game, one of the more enjoyable games on the gamecube and looked great at the time! I'd probably give it an 8/10, but who am I, really?
The most current itteration in the series for the PS3/360 is great too, but for "last generation" this is the best of the 3, closely followed by the 3rd game.
This game is turning out to be pretty good from the looks of it - watch the trailer in the link if you haven't already.
Looks to be more put together than Umbrella Chronicles was, better story-telling, visuals, camera and Characters. Billy was kind of a chump, though Steve is a winey brat :P
Oh man.. I have The Orange Box on 360 already, but no one is basically playing that anymore so $10 for the PC version is WAAAAY WORTH IT - buying it when I get home from work for sure.
So from first glance at the comic you connect it to Lego Rock Band? Not really the first place I go with it.
Cobain off'd himself in 1994 - how is this too soon?
I grew up in that generation, but anyone who actually acknowledges Penny Arcade does not even know who Kurt Cobain is, im sure.
I don't see how this was too soon at all - if anything, it's too LATE because the aniversary of him dying was April 5th. Should of done it then.
RE2 Story-wise was great, but RE1 Remake visually looks far better than RE2, since RE2 has never gotten a touch-up to it. Though 2 and 3 should both get updated like RE1 Remake did, but it will probably never happen...
Zombies with Cowboy hats :|
Downloading tonight :)
Megaton? So Fallout 3 is coming to the Wii ehhhhh
Okami was a pretty brilliant game, but yeah - Own it on the PS2 already. Thought about getting it for the Wii but I dont have the time to commit to it, again.
Looking good, Umbrella Chronicles was a decent game, imo. Plus it did close up a lot of open plot holes with the story. This, and Dead Space on the wii are probably going to be definite buys for me.
Not another Spore, true, but its another SIMS. Dont get me wrong, the Original Sims I played for days, but it seems like a lot of the same thing. Sure they add some content, but the bare-bones, its the same game. Maybe i'll eat my words but I dont really see the difference, other than graphically, between sims 2 and 3
Maybe im missing something, obviously, but where did those other dates come from? I read through all the data included on the site, nothing further :|
Cant wait for this DLC, hopefully it lasts longer than Operation Anchorage, although a fun change of pace I feel like it was way too short.
I'm with you on this, I honestly dont mind rail shooters, loved House of the Dead in the arcade, and Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles for Wii, so I see nothing wrong with Dead Space being on rails at all. Yes, its a change from the original but with the same developers so it's not like a new company is taking reign over the original title and bastardizing it.
Honestly, I can't wait to see more on this title.
Thanks for those awesome TF2 Updates on the Orange Box you promised us. Good looking out... :|
