So how does that explain the GTA franchise? All the games are M-Rated and sold crazy ammounts.
Making this game T might boost sales slightly but this also being a Mortal Kombat game, it's geared towards a different crowd that are use to the M-rating. Parents could care less about the game ratings 95% of the time anyhow unless its pointed out by the sales associate (and most of the time, its not).
Makes me think of what else was taken out of the game to obtain that T-rating...

I, for one, would love to see this title re-surface, a few years back there was a playable demo at a convention for, at the time, EBGames and it was really looking good on the GameCube. If they haven't worked on it for a while though, the engine and everything would probably need to be re-vamped and updated for newer consoles/PC.
For now this is staying in the "Duke Nukem Forever" Category.
Doesn't Microsoft basically own RARE now? I know Nintendo owns the character Donkey Kong, but without Rare a new DK Game would probably suck.
I spent an awful ammount of time with Donkey Kong Land 2 with a GameBoy Pocket back in the day, was pretty awesome actually, was great on weekend trips with the family back then.
Clearly they are getting there marketing strategies from car companies.
Car companies will always show the highest-end model on the commercial but then follow up with things like "ONLY $129 A MONTH LEASE WITH $2599 DOWN PAYMENT" which then, if you read the fine print, that price only reflects the BASE model of that particular vehicle.
Microsoft is doing the same EXACT thing, showing you the higher-end upgrades like the hard drive, and ability to download movies/stream...

I'm pretty sure you'd get more in trade-in value for a busted system at GameStop, probably around $15-$25, I haven't checked in a while though lol.
Good article, I like the idea of a 'gallery of gaming', would love to see how it turns out. I'm one of those people who, if I see a classic game at a flea market or yard sale occasionally, I will definatly pick it up if I do not own it already, almost in fear that I would never see it again on cartridge (or cd if we're talking PS1)if I didn't buy it right there usually, knowing this stuff is becoming increasingly difficult to find.

Super Columbine RPG and JFK Reloaded were both not really mainstream games by any means, they were never on retail shelves. I can probably think of a few internet FLASH games that are more "controversal" than most of the games in this list. What a waste of a topic.
Good, informative interview. Wii version coming "A few years down the road" though, lol. Though the controls for the Wii would be nice like in RE4, I could care less about this showing up on the Wii right now if its not technologically feesable, leave it be. PS3 and 360 will be fine.

I use to love playing Co-op mods for the original Half-life! A lot of the good mod creators usually move on to bigger game projects or work for companies like Gearbox or Vivendi. I want to check out this mod now >.>

Seriously, who cares? It's just to save from framerate issues since, like RE4, the cutscenes are in-engine. RE4 didn't have X-cut tree textures so the final version of RE5 I incredibly doubt will have them either. Quit crying, damn!
A lot of the same could be said for Goldeneye for N64. Bad AI, basically the same enemies over and over but that game was PRAISED like no other, mostly for the multiplayer aspect. I expect QOS to be pretty good since currently its looking rather sharp, modified COD4 engine and such. I'm going to keep this on a list of "maybe" titles until the game actually gets released and reviewed.
I see nothing new from these screen shots. Before saying "I'll take it!" I want to see what they are actually doing with it. For all we know, those screens just came from the GameCube version, which is probably the case.
No GBA Slot might make this a pass for me, plenty of good GBA games still keep my interest. I understand everyone needs to move forward and removing the GBA slot is what cut down the size of the DSi from the Lite even more. I'm still up in the air about it, really I dont think i'd get much use out of the camera since I play more single-player stuff on the DS unless I hang out with friends locally that have a DS, or enough friends are online at the same time for a good game of Mario Kart or Te...

Happend with the EBGames "Merger", use to work for them and probably still would be if it wasn't for GameStop. Not sure how Micromania works but we lost all commisions/spiffs and new-hire salaries dropped back down to state minimum wage regardless of backround or experience.
For someone who has a 112" Projection screen hooked up through HDMI, you would think he would spend the $20 on a tripod so his photos aren't blurred to crap because of the low-light...
Aside from that, I could care less about a Gold Lancer unless it made it a 1-shot 1-kill gun, or at the very least made it slightly more powerful or have some other advantage, which is not the case. Waste of money.
