Wow pretty unimpressed by a mere 12 achievements for a full retail game.
They really could have been creative and spread this list out a lot more with side-achievements, like using certain weapons and killing "x" number of dudes, or types of dudes and things of that nature. Lazy shoe-horned in gamerscore points :\

Totally. RPG-like upgrade scoring system which keeps things interesting(Yes, you can upgrade your character(s) and weapons). The Co-op is just as good as previous Contra games.
Contra: Hard Corps was originally a Genesis game.

Didn't realize this was on sale; 600 space bucks? Well worth it. Played the demo a while back and fell in love with the old school/new school fusion this game has going for it. Tough as nails!

I'm not dogging on XBox Live, as I actually do think the price is justified, but I think the issue is that they are too stubborn and will probably prefer to try and implement it into "Games for Windows". Expanding on that division, instead of Steam.

Went to Toys R Us on my lunch break. They would not honor the sale and claimed it was "Buy 2 of the select games, receive a $50 gift card" which is completely different and should not be regarded as a "Misprint".
Guess what, we have a Best Buy right across the street from them, and they honored the 2 for $50 as-was in the flyer and I picked up LA Noire and Fear 3 for $50.

Pick up Fear 3 (F3ar, whatever..) and return it unopened at Walmart or something for full price on a gift card.

Pretty interesting to think that young Link was almost non-existent. Ocarina would of been incredibly different and I almost wonder if it would still be the masterpiece it turned out to be.
