This is irony at its finest. HOME is up and running, ready for this beta, but the e-mail servers that send the invites out go down.

It seems that Sony designed this as an afterthought, instead of actually planning this from the beginning and creating a better design.
Sony never PROMISED any of that stuff. Besides, how the hell can you be mad at Sony for providing even ONE HDMI port in their console, when it took Microsoft an entire hardware REVISION to include HDMI in EVERY console, despite it "not being needed"?
Also, who on earth do you know who plays consoles on more than one TV at once? That whole pre-launch console spec BS is ridiculous. You can't fault Sony for any of that, unless you really did want all that in there and woul...
THAT explains why my SXRD rear projection set (50A3000) has a better picture than most sets that are coming out now. Sony's SXRD optics technology is second to none, easily beating out DLP in the RPTV field.

If only Sony hadn't've stopped producing RPTV sets, most consumers would get the biggest bang for their collective buck around.

People that write articles like this obviously haven't been playing videogames for very long...
Megapixels are a marketing term, and have only so much to do with image quality. It's mostly reliant on a) the optics, and b) the quality of the sensor itself.
People don't realize this though. They automatically think more megapixels = a better camera.
The only thing worse than fanboys, are CLOSET FANBOYS, who outright deny the fact that they are fanboys and yet make stupid, biased statements such as this!
