"Yakuza 5 will be better than GTA 5"
So true.
A survival horror game with actual horror.. the based of the previous entry, visual novel may be a better term
"It boggles my mind as to why it was even localized for North America. It took a Herculean effort by fans to get master works Xenoblade Chronicles and The Last Story to our shores, yet this … thing shows up uninvited."
Nisa is a far better publisher than Nintendo, simple as that. (BTW univated? Fans asked Nisa to localize this game)
Lazy? Ok now I have doubts that the reviewer even played the game. It may have beena lot of of things, but it mos...
You mean like giving an option to region lock games if a publisher is sure there game will be released in all regions won't have to worry about it while still allowing companies that know their games won't be localized in any other region to go region free both increasing how much these companies get from their games while keeping gamers happy?
Kinda like what Sony is doing...
Or maybe giving an option to allow these publishers to go region free inste...
Really the line up is a ligament argument, right now the system only has about 3 exclusives. really not enough to warrant the price.
offer me solutions, offer me alternatives, and I decline
The best open world game of 2013 is clear, really there is no doubt in my mind it will be Yakuza 5....
Or at least I would like to be able to say that, but given the current circumstances of the publisher, I really can't at this time. Hopefully that will change.
Right now I have to go with GTAV
"Never talk about specs"
Did you watch Nintendo's 2011 E3 conference? A major point Nintedo was try to push was how much more powerful it was than the PS3.
Really that can take a lot of blame for why people are disappointed with the WiiU specs
Really there are only two simple reasons I can't recommend it
If one already has a PS3 and or 360, there is just not enough exclusive content to warrant a purchase yet.
And if they don't have a PS3/360, there's consoles offer to warrant me suggesting a WiiU over these two systems.
10) Disgeae 4: A promise Unforgotten
7) Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention
5) Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice
Two problems with this
Detention was a PSV game and in what world was Disgaea 3 better than 4?
Reading compression is really an underrated skill.
The article isn't saying don't expect much from the WiiU's gamepad because the gamepad it's self is flawed.
It's saying don't expect much from it because developers most likely won't do much with it. The talk about other controllers is to establish that there is a trend to support this concern.
The story is about a group of people who use supernatural powers called personas in order to both catch a killer and save his victims, all while keeping up with their school studies and social life.
Really the Yakuza Franchise is almost as big as monster hunter games in Japan, so with the bigger install base it's no surprise Yakuza 5 would sell so well.
Also there's the fact that Yakuza games are awesome.
The list has a bit of a weird criteria, I mean games like Hyperdemsion Netunia V and The Which and the hundred Cavalrymen (both have been confirmed for a 2013 release) and yet games that sadly haven't been confirmed like Yakuza 5 are there.
No, I think they disagree with defensive comments that really don't relate to the article
1: This is an article about January, not Febuary's line-up.
2: The game you mentioned, has yet to be even be announced for the single region the article was talking about.
Shame that some people don't know the difference between a spin off and main entry.
If you want confirmation from a dev that has made a game for the WiiU here you go

"Unlike fanboys of the HD twins, Nintendo fans don't care who has the biggest numbers."
Oh, that must be why Nintendo fans on this site where constsitly talking about how powerful the system would be over the last year, cause they didn't care. /s
Nintendo fanboys play the number game just as much as any other fanboy, be it with specs or sales.
"Nintendo is the only company offering me something I can't get anywhere ...
Voted for Kiryu Kazuma
The list for PS3 is missing Ni No Kuni, Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory, and The Witch and the Hundred Knights.
I hope we also see Disgaea D2 and Yakuza 5 in 2013
EDIT looks like they added those games.
