Pretty typical of them, this is the same company that pushed for $69.99 PS5 titles for no reason when no other companies wanted it. Ex. MLB the Show, 69.99 on PS5, free on Game Pass Day One. So many articles about this game lately, they had a huge budget and a long development cycle and they still delivered a medicore game. The story was average at best. They need to stop interviewing the guy who left sony its clearly just sour grapes, there's no comparison.
If he made a better game they would've wanted a sequel, period. Now he's been comparing days gone to ghost of tshuishma which sold more than days gone and was way better reviewed.
I feel like this one won't be as good as the last one since it has a different game director.
The first game was an incredibly overrated tomb raider reboot clone (mostly bow and arrow combat, tracking footprints with a detective mode, using ziplines, camp fires as save points etc.) I couldn't care less about this game. The world looks nice but that's it.
The story was also complete garbage in the first one. Only the world was good. I'm so over the lame, overly long sony first party exclusives that literally all have NO Multiplayer.
The design is terrible. Baldur was also generic and this new female boss seems generic too. What happened to the giant enemies the series is known for? They're doing even more of these plain bosses now which is garbage.
The story of this game was a complete joke, a girl avenging the murder of her father figure vs another girl avenging the murder of her father figure. They didn't even try. Would've been so much more interesting if Abby was at least avenging a brother or a woman or anything different, or if she was a guy instead of an overly butch caricature.
Also turning Joel into an idiot who wouldn't even realize he was obviously being setup, just so they could have some shock...

This is how you know there isn't as much demand. The design of the console is absolutely awful, the exclusives are either also on PS4 or overly diffiucly niche rpgs like dmons souls and returnal. Sony in their arrogance skipped E3 And offered nothing to entice people to buy a ps5 who don't already own one.

Xbox one was ruined by Don Mattrick but now that he's been fired/replaced the Xbox can finally get back to where it was during the 360 era: the best selling console with the best features, best multiplatform games and great exclusives.

4 is actually a lot better than I remembered in general and definitely better than Halo 5 in every way.
Only two of those games are actually exclusives, everything else is also on PS4. Pretty funny how all Xbox stuff that was also on the One was slammed but now that Sony is doing it it's compeltely okay.

Also the Xbox showcase was great, thats why there's so few comments around here because Sony fans can't admit that xbox actually has some quality games coming up. Especially considering all of the full priced third party games coming to game pass day one. Oh and now every PS fan suddenly hates bethesda, ninja theory and obsidian.
A remaster would be great! This one is definitely a gem.
First game was trash with horrible puzzles that ruined the gameplay. If they fixed those great, if not forget it.
