Liking Halo 4 doesn't put you in the minority. Its a well loved game and for good reason. The story, gameplay, and graphics are incredible. And Reach had a killer ending, and amazing gameplay.
I was at my buddies the other day and he has a PS4, and we were playing Madden. I have to be honest while the new controller is awesome, its too wide. it felt really funny in my hands, especially coming from the Xbox One controller which is like holding a scale model of a controller, its just a lot smaller (which I like)

I assume that you're asking yourself then why are there so many ponies on this web site justify their purchase of a ps4. Because if its already so good and the Xbox is SO bad they shouldnt need to say a word. As the console should speak for itself.

Though the thing MS and Sony have going for them is that HDTV household penetration is like 90%. Now people have something to really make their TV's shine. And with both MS and Sony doing the TV thing (in their own ways) they can attract a broader market.
The downside is PC gaming has seen a comeback nobody expected.So lots of the hardcore guys are buying PC's and foregoing the consoles, unless they want the exclusives.

I agree but that's life. The Battery life is insane, one of the reasons is as you may know, when your watching tv or a movie and you set the controller down, the Kinect knows you've put it down and turns it off.
