its strange but i dont have much interest in wiiu. i mean, i always check the news and things, but it seems to have just become a ps3/360 type console. and im not talking talking about specs, but the types of games.
the tekkens, assassin creeds etc. ok, those are fine for rainy days, but what about the big nintendo games? pikmin? cool. hardly the game to sell a console on.

only a moron would go out and buy a 'controller' that costs over 100gbp just so they can view the map on the vita. sony need to drop the price of ps3, so adding a vita in a bundle would just hike the price up and make it unappealing.
its a rubbish idea and the market wont buy it. but the wiiu comes configured that way as standard and will be affordable.
it would be fine if each game was genuinely original. but the truth is, nintendo has a 'mario cake cutter' which they use to churn out game after game using the same template. mario bros wii was the worst for this effect. it was empty and soulless.

i dont see what the point is in his comment. the wiiu is obviously aimed at a more mature market. i dont see how not wanting a kid to use it is a negative. thats like saying i wouldnt want a child to use my iphone. nintnendo cant win anyway, even if they made it kid friendly, people would then sy its a toy. so who cares what this guy thinks
i agree. the environments, lighting, shadow, ambience etc looks next gen, better than ps3. the objects laying around on the floor look great. people are just playing it down, either that or they are blind!

hmm i agree this is bull though. they gave us call of duty for the wii, using a wii mote, so dont see how the tablet would be a problem. i think what they said has been taken out of context

Maybe nintendo are deliberately being evasive about wiiu specs because they want to keep sony and microsoft guessing. Nintendo are the market leaders, maybe sony/micro are waiting to see which direction nintendo will take before finalising the specs for their next gen consoles. You never know, wiiu might actually be a beast. It would make sense because nintendo are also being coy about the release date and price. So i think they are playing a game. Trouble is, us gamers are in the dark
Im not bothered. Why? Because nintendos 2nd party games are incredibly strong and totally exclusive. Retro studios, and the studios that made xeno, last story and pandoras tower. Those are excellent partnerships. Not to mention nintendos in house games. Im looking forward to the wiiu nintendo partnerships with other devs, like they did with metroid and temco. Nintendo will kick ass. Fuck call of duty, who cares. Nobody buys a nintendo to play a 3rd party franchise you can play anywhere.

People keep criticising wiiu for only allegedly supporting one controller at a time, but then in the next breath criticise them for not supporting online play enough. Maybe the one 'main' wiiu tablet shows nintendo realises local multiplayer is dead... Ie they are emphasising online multiplayer this time around.
Also, the so called hardcore criticised wii for being a childrens console, but then use the one controller assumption as a reason why they will not buy it- ...
Wii u can render the universe and its entire contents to scale and real time in photorealism. It can render 18 universes simultaneously, even down to the dark matter. So dont worry, its pretty powerful.
