This is one of those articles where comments will get dislikes because the entire situation is based on opinion. I would save the $100 and remove the disc-drive. Maybe I have a poor impression of the PS market place (I was rarely on my PS4) and I feel like, based on my time in the MS market place, that games are on sale constantly. the biggest draw back to the digital library is the HDD space the games take up. I saved a lot of money in the digital-purchasing of games, and saved space. Purely...
Cars have lemons, appliances have lemons, systems have lemons too. The situation does not show the consumer anything other than lemons happen. Hopefully the individual gets a new/functioning system.
N64 had an incredibly impressive launch lineup. I think this OPINION comes from someone shortsighted.
OK hot take...calm down.
Waiting on mine as we speak...only a few more hours!
Oh man... you got'em. Solid reviews coming in, and you came swooping in with a zinger...nice!
I acknowledge the lack of games releasing with the console -- totally a fair and legit argument. The reviews that call the hardware boring are simply laughable. Any review that considers EITHER system boring is laughable. No matter what side you are (why are there even sides?) you can acknowledge that both systems take what was and make it faster, smoother and more immersive. I am excited for both of these systems to be released.
Happy to hear, being able to go back to older-games is fun. Feeling denied a library of games because you've updated your console has been historically disappointing.
I will be buying this game. I'll either wait for when I get a PS5 or I'll buy it on-sale for the PS4 relatively soon. But man...they really tried to make Peter look like Tom H. I like Tom's Peter and Spidey, but man...its sorta of laughable to deny it.
Why didn't Sony address this earlier? Why is so much coming out this late about the system. I am genuinely asking.
So why didn't Sony comment on this earlier?
This is not a comment on exclusives nor how well the system will play games - the PS5 will be in extraordinary in both aspects. With that said, the PS5 is ugly and large. It looks like something I would find at the Citadel. Again, the games will be great, and the hardware is impressive. This system is ugly.
A clean looking machine. Super excited.
Riddle me this SmokinAces...if the PS5 is in-fact larger than the PS4, how then is your system not requiring additional space?
yea...intimidating...
@BrettAwesome ??
Are you suggesting that I knew it was as large as the picture shows? Because I did not. And those down-voting the comment...pla-lease. Did I say I hated your fanboy machine? No, I said it's huge and looks like a tower PC; get over yourselves.
Jee-Zus! i am buying both but the PS5 does not look like something I want in my living room. It looks like a tower PC design.
I am trying to think back to when all this trash started...I want to say that my opinion of 2k changed about 5-6 years ago.
"Hey everyone, look...we're sorry. We now know that the loading screen ads have upset a majority of our community. We will work to move the ads else where within the game. Keep dribbling. -2k"
@Jin_Sakai So...the market does not grow with a growing population?
