Hey Guys. I would greatly appreciate if someone with PC Knowledge looking at those screens could explain to me what technologies in use are making this game apparently look breathtaking.
Please, I just dont see the breathtakingness. Im looking at the art style and it is F%*$&*g Sweet but technically speaking looking at these shots im not seeing much new besides Megatexture which i understand they had to kind of change in order to deal with memory limitations.

This was a PC lead game at first they were using it to showcase the new Quad-Cores back when they were unheard of. Then for some reason they scrapped the whole game and started from scratch on the 360. It was meant to be Multiplat PC-360 with the pc including all the awesome Physics and the like.
