Can you imagine this as a television series? I can...Amazing job Sony!
Yes I will tell you, and myself that it's the same thing. If you are watching a Blu Ray MOVIE, does that make you less of a gamer? Better yet Pork; How many gamers do you know watch movies? Explain to us if you are watching a Netflix movie are you gaming at the same time? You don't do anything else on your PS3 but game? Do you, or anyone you know surf the net on their PS3? I do, and I have. See somehow some way your gaming cred is fine if you are being entertained by something that is...
You're talking paranoia from ads to interface, to silverlight. All stuff that YOU are focused on. What I'm talking about is pushing our games further across entertainment mediums. Microsoft already has done it, and so have publishers. EA did it with Dead Space, Mass Effect Anime, Capcom with Street Fighter, Konami with Z.O.E. Microsoft with Halo Spartans, and others. The point is by making entertainment and gaming apart of a console they can continue to do entertainment more catered t...
There's nothing to argue, and if it sounds like a press release I think you're not a true gamer. Let me move away from Microsoft, and put Sony in the spotlight.
Right now "Last of Us" is getting rave reviews, and the embargo hasn't been lifted yet. 10's, 9's etc. Let me ask you this; if Naughty Dog & Sony were to create a "Last of Us" mini series. Would you watch it? I know I would. Let's say it was a movie that you could watch ...
Like Smart TV's Xbox One just offers you an option as you play on a television. It's still a gaming machine, and like @edonus said; Microsoft built an Xbox OS. I can't tell you how many people love Game of Thrones. How many gamer's love to watch that show? Lots. So Microsoft offering me on a games console a way to interact with my TV seamlessly is fine by me.
Last I heard; Watch Dogs, Assassins Creed, A Red Spawn Entertainment game, Remedy title, and other gam...
Love this!!!
With Game of Thrones, The Big Bang Theory, Scandal, Family Guy. Along with other great television out there. For gaming entertainment television on the horizon I'm glad to see Microsoft push gaming in new directions. Now we can get real Hollywood talent to tackle games. Marvel did it with their comics, and if Microsoft can do it with Halo, an Alan Wake, or Gears of War. It will be a fantastic gaming/television future. I can look forward to CD Project making a...
Be a gamer...Not a hater
I need to get more info.
Sorry, head to the bottom left, and you can turn it off.
Thanks for the feedback!
I have to get this to send off this gaming gen.
Yeah, this is a big deal. Yikes!
It's not a deal breaker, because it's part of the system in such a way that it makes the Xbox One a very unique console. Perhaps the first gimmick peripheral that has tangible benefits.
Also, I think Microsoft was able to pull off tablet/smart phone capability on a console. Without you ever having to touch the screen. You get multitasking functionality with the focus being on hardcore gaming & casual. You only get casual gaming on tablets/smart phones. Not many pe...
Please keep in mind, I know that controversy sells, but the editor is not hating on Sony. The big part that I personally think is important is that just because Sony has more exclusives it does not mean that a console will succeed based on that. History has shown that the console that ultimately does succeed has a balance of first party, and third party development. Name the system, and it can be proven.
So you all are now saying that Playstation exclusives this generation have sold better than Microsoft exclusives? Better yet are you also claiming that Sony has more first party titles than Sega?
I'm not understanding what your point is when clearly the article is talking about "few" exclusives that Microsoft has compared to the many that Sony has. The whole point of the article is to contradict the theory that has circulated that Microsoft needs more. So the ar...
Overall Microsoft has experienced better sales for their exclusive games than Sony. Sony is not in the best financial situation, and it seems like this next generation will again be about who will have exclusive content, as well as developers. Both Sony, and Microsoft are working hard at that. Microsoft has benefited more than Sony in this regard with the Xbox 360. That's not an opinion. We used Halo 3's first week sales as benchmark which factually broke entertainment records for sal...
This is actually really a great addition. Lots of times it's hard to organize your team. So from a tactical standpoint this will really give the game a lift in mulltiplayer cooperation with team members.
Most of these features are a must. It's interesting that communication with other gamers on the PC isn't in. Should the developers really work on VOIP if it's not going to be used much? Wouldn't there time be better spent on really getting all the features already in right? BF4 is going to be Epic regardless.
I'm not big on pre-ordering games. I do get it, especially if you can put the money to side, and not think about having to scramble the bread to get a game on release.
Since Nintendo isn't going to have a conference. Then they have to show up big time with the software. Show us that the Wii U is a qualitative game's console.
This game? Is a must have bar none!
