That's what I have been hearing from many owners of the Xbox One. The experience of owning the console does not reflect much of what has been in the news or on fandom sites. The PS4 doing a fantastic job is less of an indictment on what Xbox One is doing. Rather it's a strong showcase of how healthy these consoles are making the industry look great.
From my playthrough and conversations with many people. TitanFall is going to sell consoles. The price tag of the Xbox O...
I'm not going to comment much on the success of both consoles in 4 months. That's just too irresponsible no matter what side of the fence you sit on.
I'm actually writing an article post on Thekingslayer.com about this whole thing.
On topic though. This idea that Microsoft should conform to building a console the way we want is not bad. Except for one big flaw. Does anyone know exactly what a next generation console should be or could be?

In all actuality Microsoft is right to insist on parity. What everyone, including indie developers are not paying attention to is the level of competition that they face from each other.
Everyone who has their pitchforks out, and wants Microsoft's blood smacked across their lips. Stop for one moment and put your thinking caps on. If in one year 22,000 indie games are released, along with triple A titles, and exclusives come out. Will any of us be able to play all those ga...
Is this the real "gaming console"?

You're off topic. We're talking about a nickname. What does this have to do with Vita TV?
No one is offended Zealous. Just looking at it from Major Nelson's side of the fence, and gamers who may not like the Xbone nickname as well. Can't speak to the stuff you brought up, because not everyone agrees with you.
What if people started calling the Playstation 4. POS4 aka Piece of Sh$t 4? Would that stand well with any gamer? I don't think so. Major Nelson, and others who don't like it I believe have a point. At the end of the day, it's up to the community to decide what it becomes.
XWON...
Xbox One + X 1= Xbox Won...So its XWon.
The systems is a winner with gamers.
No slight to the PS4. Xbone just has always been something haters used. From now on...I'm calling it X1 or XWON
Lesson in all this folks. Don't jump to conclusions...Xbox One didn't pass FCC. Wow...Just...Wow
We are not knocking the PS4 for not having Titan Fall. We are just saying that it has become a killer game app in the classic sense of what a must have game should be. Thank you guys for the support. We want to build a great community for those interested in our content.

I trust Microsoft more than I trust Sony when it comes to implementing, and supporting new technology.
I'm still waiting on Playstation Home, chat for the PS3, Six axis motion control, wait I mean Playstation Move. Yeah remember those gimmicks?
My point in all this is that from Xbox Live to Kinect Microsoft has shown a willingness to believe in technology, and follow through on it. This includes going through peaks, and valleys of adoption, implementation, and ult...
This why I like this time of year, and with a release like GTA 5. It all gets really good. Those easter eggs are a want!

Actually, Microsoft has sold 78.2 million Xbox 360s worldwide while Sony has sold roughly 77 million. I believe the Xbox 360 is also the most profitable of the two consoles. That's 1.2 million systems more. You can check out GameSpot, and this is an interesting topic but its too early to call a win. I suspect both consoles will do really well like the PS3 and Xbox 360.
GameSpot:
@KingPos
You hit the nail on the head. Playstation Now would not be viable for Sony if Cloud technology isn't progressing rapidly. How advanced will it be in the near future for some of things being talked about in the article? Not sure, but from all the research we've done on Azure. Microsoft is more prepared than many people think with Cloud technology for streaming to asset allocation.
We'll have a write up on Cloud tech on Thekingslayer.com ...
