I'm surprised how massive the difference between the PC and Xbox 360 versions is. Usually it's small since the developers just port over the same assets from the console version to the PC.
They won't be able to stop piracy. There are online authentication tools and protection stuff like that to help, but crackers will always find a way to circumvent the security.
What they need to do is sell the games for a low price. $10-20 would be the sweet spot, and $25-30 if it's something on the scale of Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.
Epic releases an update to Unreal Engine 3 every month.
The August update just released a couple days ago.

Here's what happened:
So, GameSpot HAD (past-tense is important. They don't do this anymore) an editorial team and a marketing team that sort of communicated with each other. The editorial team wrote the review and made the video for Kane & Lynch and gave it an average score. Eidos advertised heavily on the site and was not happy with this and they were all like "Yo, bitches, what up with this whack score" to GameSpot. And the head of GameSpot marketing was all l...
I think it is. Most sales aren't from retail, though. They sell the licenses to OEMs to put on their computers.
Seems more likely to be announced in October and released by Christmas.
Android has 70,000 apps.
The original Call of Duty and Call of Duty 2 are the most skill based.
I'm really curious to know if Sony is going to make Android their "PSP2" or if they're going to have a new regular handheld device.
It's not happening, though. At least it's not going to be announced this week on GTTV.
From the article:
"Now I'll be the one to ask the question; why on earth would there be "Left For Dead 1 and 2 news" when the first game has pretty much run it's course on the 360 and PC?"
The answer is here:

Private servers are unofficial servers that don't require a monthly fee to play on. The problem here, though, is that the company was selling items to people, essentially profiting off of work that isn't theirs.
I don't think anybody cares about the storylines for those games.
Yeah... calling it a "donation" isn't fooling anyone, especially when you're required to "donate" specific amounts to receive specific items in return.
They profited off of someone else's work and they are being punished for it.
Sounds like they need a new game engine (id Tech 5???).
Yeah, but you have to pay $3 per map.
Google just released activation tools for apps that require the user activate the app online at least once before using it.
I think these might be console screenshots. You can see that the textures are pretty low-res and there isn't a lot of texture filtering.
But if these are from a PC on high settings, then I am disappoint.
Yes, Android is the fastest growing mobile OS (though it isn't the largest smartphone OS. Symbian is.) and I love my Droid X, but you have to admit that gaming on Android is rather poor compared to the iPhone.
I really hope Sony brings some big blockbuster games like Metal Gear Solid or Gran Turismo to the Android platform. Not even the iPhone has games like those.
It's confirmed to have dedicated servers. It might even have mod tools.
