Instead of going to the E3 stage. You, the consumer, not a specially invited member of the press, gets to go to Best Buy and play the new Smash Bros and get special direct streams that allow them to give more than five minutes to the game in question. That's falling behind?
Explain this logic to me. Because to me, a company putting the consumer first in it's publicity events sounds a lot better than "Hey, watch these potentially paid-off press members play this game on a ...
You're completely right. Opting for their own streams so they aren't confined to an hour on the E3 stage isn't right. Nor is having a streamed Smash Bros Tournament with 16 pro players in it. Nope, and putting Smash Bros demos in Best Buys while Sony and Microsoft will just have you watch their E3 demo's wishing you could play.
But Sony and Microsoft, who currently have no hype going for their E3 presentations that will be limited to one hour each will clearly come out...
I'm hoping Pokken Fighters will be the real deal. For those who don't know, a picture of what appeared to be a Pokemon fighter was released. Then Nintendo filed a trademark for Pokken Fighters a few days after the leak. Yes, that is what I want.
If the last Best Buy Nintendo event is anything to go by. It's ten minutes per group of players unless there's no one waiting to play. You can just go to the back of the line right after playing though.
You think Smash Bros and a new Zelda is disappointing? And that's not even the whole thing, that's just whats guaranteed to be there.
Yeah, the problem is most people who make such harsh judgement don't know the first thing about running a multi-billion dollar business.
People can say they want. But Nintendo has over 3 billion in surplus and Sony's millions in debt and is shutting down it's departments and laying off it's employees. While Nintendo is adding departments and hiring employees.
Mr Swank Sinatra
More than 6 million people disagree with your opinion.
Looks great. This will get some big sales figures for sure.
Well why did the Xbox 360 make me buy a wi-fi adapter? WTH is with that? Or the PS3's wifi being shit at any range longer than five feet?
It's like they hate 2D games. Because this is the same thing with Dragon's Crown. Guess you gotta have the big dick 3D Crytek enginge grwaphix to have good score on polygon.
Why don't you join us in the 21st century? 41% of core gamers are women. The opinion of one who has a history of inflammatory click bait sensationalist articles does not damn the other 41%.
Isn't that the same idiot who said that Dracula feeding on a woman resembled rape?
The real question is how many actually LOVE them and how many are just saying that to support their bias in the console war?
- Zelda Wii U is confirmed for this year's E3 already, wouldn't be surprised if Metroid was announced this year, even if just a teaser. Sakurai is too busy with Smash to make another Kid Icarus. Mario Party is a party game and online would be useless to it.
- RE4 was exclusive to Gamecube because Capcom thought the series was about to die out so they only developed it for one platform. With it's rampant success, Nintendo exclusivity is a pipe dream.
- No, multiplat...
Also the most impossible, Nintendo has NEVER made an MMO and are definitely local>online multiplayer. Pokemon Snap 2's primary developer, Jack and Beans, died shortly after the game's launch and Pokemon Snap wasn't supposed to exist anyways. The project started as a basic photography simulator but when funding ran short Nintendo gave them more money in exchange for making it themed around a Nintendo franchise.
You mean that thing that was confirmed for E3 2014 last year at E3 2013?
Kirby Triple Deluxe hype.
This article is so sensationalist it made me sick
Exactly, it's streamed so everyone can see it and Smash Bros will be at Best Buy so anyone(In the US) will be able to play it. Meanwhile Sony and Microsoft only get a handful of press members to play their games and talk about them.
Meanwhile, Nintendo will have THOUSANDS of people talking about their games.
And instead of having their fans sit at home and watch the E3 stream, they can be at Best Buy, waiting to play a game that the people around them are just as excited t...
