Things that will boost Wii U sales:
Zelda, Smash Bros, X, Metroid, Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem (Two BIG RPG series), Miyamoto's new IP, whatever Retro makes, Fatal Frame IV (It's small but devoted fanbase will move consoles).
Try at least 800k. This series sells better than CoD (BTW this isn't fanboyism it's fact look it up) it will push consoles.
Yes, the CEO who takes a pay cut instead of laying off highly talented employees should be fired. He should also be replaced by a suit who has never played video games. Or better yet, Nintendo should drop the price of the Wii U to $200 so that they don't even make enough off the console to keep them in production. There's a reason why you only have one bubble.

To be honest I wonder if Nintendo lowered projections so that when all their stuff coming out this year shatters those goals they can be all "LOL, look we did so good. Look at all these exceeded expectations." Clever girl.

Still, it's nice to know that Nintendo is able to pull native 1080p 60fps off in their first run with HD. Especially since their competition had HD last generation and couldn't pull it off. I can only imagine the kind of visuals we'll see in the future.

That's where all the doomed articles are coming from. The press wants exclusivity but Nintendo is opting for inclusivity.

Smash(And I'm guessing other Wii U games) playable at Best Buy during E3. They're just mad that I can get my own hands-on experience and I don't need their stupid Youtube video to see the new games.

That's a great move by Nintendo. Because people usually don't start swearing and being salty until they start losing. So this way people can have a cordial chat before going into the race and no mother is going to be yelling at Nintendo for exposing their children to profanity. Everybody wins.
Mario Kart is a party game. And item luck has always been the biggest part of winning the game.
