Nintendo is an entertainment company. They recently reiterated that. They've gone from playing cards to love hotels. Even if consoles go out of business. Nintendo won't because chances are they'd just move to PC games or toys if they REALLY needed to. Thankfully I don't see that happening anytime soon.
Try having a game run in 720p next to a monitor running the game at 1080p. You'll see the difference when it's side by side.
That won't work. They'll request your ip before you can have access to the game. Once they see it's a foreign ip. So sorry.
You mean the ones that annualize their series because it guarantees a consistent profit and their too scared to lose money on a new IP even though they have millions, sometimes billions of dollars and can afford a few losses but that doesn't matter the only thing that matters is their constant growth business plan(Which BTW is archaic and is impossible to maintain indefinitely)?
Yeah, I think that was conveyed pretty well.
But then you gotta look at all the safe and uncreative titles:
Battlefield: Hardline
Arkham Knight
Mortal Kombat X
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare
Halo 5
Assassin's Creed: Unity
Master Chief Collection
Borderlands: The pre-sequel
Now I want you to note: How many fps games are there?
How many of these games come from IPs that have been around for more than five years?
That's what Miyamoto is talking ...

If offline gaming is becoming a thing of the past. Then why are people clamoring for games like Half-Life 3, The Last Guardian and MGSV? They aren't online centric. Explain to me how games that will have limited to no online components are some of gamers most anticipated titles?
Because PSN doesn't have the same level of security steam does. Being able to change your name multiple times in quick succession can(And has) been used to speed hack. Which is never fun for whomever is in charge of network security.
M$ finding other ways to extort you into always being online.
What you talking about? I heard Minesweeper plays great in 4k on one card.
If you JUST bought it. You could try to return it for a refund.
Yeah well most games also only utilize 4 CPU cores. But that's looking to change REALLY soon as well.
"The PS4's domination" the VITA, THE DAMN VITA is outselling PS4 in Japan. A console people were SURE Sony was going to drop.
The salt is real.
That's a healthy mindset. /s
Yeah, the ESRB basically says "Swim at your own risk" for online gaming.
Gamers like change. More than change they like KEEPING their change. Hint hint, nudge nudge.
Splatoon has shown they have the perfect tech for the graffiti. The tech is there so it solidifies the idea further. Not to mention Nintendo producer Takashi Tezuka said he'd like to work on a Sunshine sequel.
Uhm, you see a lot of profit from console sales because guess what? When people buy consoles, they tend to buy games at the same time.
Move over Phoenix Wright! We got a new turnabout king!
