To be fair. Even from a PC standpoint. I don't see the point of going above 1440p.
The biggest advantage with 4K gaming is that the image is so big that Anti-Alias becomes useless. But rendering in 4K takes up more processing power than good AA anyways. So I don't see the point really. It also doesn't help that there isn't a single game designed around/for 4K.

Correction: When they get more Japanese games on PS4 that aren't also available on PS3.
There hasn't been a single Fox engine game on PC yet. So I wouldn't hold your breath until then.
But Konami is still making bank off of Yu-Gi-Oh(Though those sales numbers are dropping fast, but I digress as it is still immensely profitable)
If anything I respect Konami for taking risks. Those last few Silent Hill games were them taking risks on new western developers. Though it didn't work out very well for them it was still nice to see a company that has the balls to even give an ip to a new developer.
