Are you freaking joking with this article? LOL!

The game obviously had some bugs because they probably had to rush out a demo for E3! Other than some glitches the game looked freakin' amazing.

They also went to commercial during the Halo 3 trailer. It was so frustrating!

Considering they just announced it would cost an estimated $1 billion for the whole 3RROD 3 year warranty thing, who really expected them to spend another few hundred million dollars for a price cut?

If they do do one, i think it'll be closer to the end of this year.

He started talking about a new series coming to Xbox, and i thought he was going to say MSG4 was for 360. Even the trailer at first sorta looked like MSG4 until i realized it was Resident Evil...

RE5 is still very cool and exciting news though (even though i thought it was always going to be coming to 360...)

The COD4 and Assassin's Creed demos were amazing, especially AC's.

The only way they could have done better would have been to get a demo of Halo 3 (but then again, didn't we get to play a beta for it!?) or Grand Theft Auto IV shown.

I guess it looked a little better. Difficult to judge though since it wasn't actually in my console and on a TV like the Beta was.

I thought they did a good job.

The Assassin's Creed demo was the best part of the briefing in my opinion.

I'm not so sure though that 12 million 360 owners would even want to send their 360s in for a recall and have to wait weeks to get it back.

The 3 year warranty on the 3RROD is the best solution imo. Those people that experience it will have their console repaired free of charge and get the new heatsink that should fix the problem. Those 360s that aren't having problems then would not have to worry about going through the recall process.

I DO though think Micros...

The price drop is definitely going to being about a good increase in PS3 sales.

If people were swarming for $480 elites, then a $500 PS3 doesn't seem too pricey.

The problem still is that by Spring 2008, there will probably be close to 20 million 360s on the market. It would take a lot of restraint from Konami not to try to tap that market when PS3 most likely won't even have past 7-10 million

The quality of the screenshot itself doesn't look to be very high quality, and you can't really judge a game from a single screenshot.

Once they show some *real* footage of the game it'll give everyone a much better idea what to expect.

This also brings up a HUGE problem. Sony set our expectations way too high with that CGI video a few years ago that they were passing off as a goal for what the game will look like. We all know that the game isn't going to even ...

They can't rely on a single angle, especially when the room isn't brightly lit. I'm pretty sure it is only grey because of the lighting in the room and angle of the shot.

I just bought the regular Oblivion a week ago because I figured that the GOTY Edition wouldn't be out so soon :(

For only $50 though i guess it is a good price considering that the downloadable content is so expensive on XBL.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but VG chartz does NOT have completely accurate X360 #'s. Check out nexgenwars.com, they have been up for much longer and I have always gone by them.

I definitely don't think being able to play it different ways makes it innovative. There are plenty of games where you can choose to be stealthy, use brute force, or any other method to complete a stage.

To me I think this game is more innovative with its environment. Being able to do things like light the oil on fire to burn enemies, having this big city to explore, having enemies try to jump in water when they are on fire, etc.

It definitely has a more cinematic feel that a lot of shooters don't seem to have. I'm really hoping that Halo 3's single player will look as cinematic and will be filled with lots of hectic, epic action like it seems COD4 has.

I agree. I think in this day and age that also online co-op is almost becoming a must for FPS games. But at the very least even split-screen co-op would still be fun.

Another interesting this is that this is being called "Pre-Alpha" and already looks amazing :)

well...the graphics aren't as good as CGI, lol, but whats going on looks pretty similar.

I think 'Modern Warfare' was a great decision by the developers. Having three WWII shooters come out three years in a row would get way too monotonous. With this they are brining new life into the series that'll attract fans of previous COD games as well as new fans who may not have liked the WWII theme of previous COD installments.

Yeah, the PS3 is never going to be $199. Even if it doesn't sell well ever it will never be that low. As it is at $499 and $599, Sony is losing money. If they put it at $199 it wouldn't even be worth it to keep PS3 on the marketplace.

percent doesn't really matter at this point. It should be looked at:

Xbox 360 has 52 games rated over 80%
PS3 has 14 games rated over 80%

when you go to buy the games, percentages don't matter, it is the quantity of the titles that are great that matters - and 360 has nearly 4 times more.
