I wish thre was a Lair demo this week... maybe next. It will be coming soon though.

it was really just to scale how many ps3 would be out there... at two million units thats 100,000 stores at 20 units per store. I know warehouses hold the bulk and ship to the actual retailers, it was a comparison.
do you understand that if 50,000 stores had 20 ps3 laying around that would only be a million units? why would you suppose retailers would keep buying a product that isnt selling? They wouldnt. they have shipped 5.5 million (pry more by now)units. How many do you suppose are sitting around? two million? warehouse or not that is a bunch of ps3's collecting dust. Just do the math.

this video is rather unimpressive compared to the new videos that are out now... there is a story earlier today that shows more impressive video
Well... if the graphics for this game come even close to Gears it will be a technical marvel. Remember the environments in this game are somewhere around 32km x 32km with thousands of soldiers onscreen.
My prediction is that this game will be the most technically impressive game on any video game console ever and its a first gen title! Amazing! Imagine a few years down the road.
Sounds awesome. It seems as though the levels will be diverse enough to scatter out the gameplay; so, even if the gameplay is a little repetitive we should get a little of everything which will make it seem a little more fresh. I think people forget sometimes how the environment of a game can add or subtract from the gameplay. This epic seems to add. I am getting more and more excited about this game as time goes on.
Someone needs to create that story that tehcellownu has tipsed about... its an exclusive lair preview of the first 6 levels. Seriously a good article with some insight into both gameplay and environments

This game looks amazing! Im just ever so weary of the gameplay... hopefully it is varied enough to keep me interested, the demo will tell all.
ok... gameplay in a fps is very very limited. If thats what halo3 is really going to rely on then its more overhyped than i ever imagined. I do like the story, and environments though, it makes for a great game. However, i think that if Halo 3 is just gonna rely on gameplay that we have seen two times before than thats a sad story indeed. You can only beat a horse so long until its dead; then, well, you know the saying.
i guess what i dont get is why MP would look way worse than the single player? Anyway, how many people are going to be able to play on H3 multiplayer, anyone know?
well i know that halo3 is only in a beta phase but from what I have seen of it, it looks, well not so good. When it comes to multiplayer I would take warhawk in a second. It looks better and has more diverse actions than Halo. But you want to talk about hyping a game? Halo is the most hyped game i have ever seen.
KZ2 will look better than halo3, i will bet anyone on that. Now whether it plays as good is a different story. For that we will have to wait for E3
if this is true september could kick some major a$$ for the playstation brand. Killzone 2, warhawk, and heavenly sword are all system movers... could be very good.
yeah, im annoyed... I drove to walmart... no sign of it... target... no sign of it... gamestop said that it ships on the 29th and will be in the store on the 30th. Im a little pissed
well, im having the same problem... multiplayer will be better on Rainbow Six. I guess you just have to ask yourself do you want a realistic shooter or more of an arcade shooter?
well I for one am stoked for this game. I am so sick of the Tony Hawk series I could puke. I wish it wasnt coming out september 3rd though... warhawk AND heavenly sword are coming out the 4th which means I will be spending my money on those. It should have come out in mid August!oh well though, at least it will be out there.
yep, character models look flat and unrealistic... you would think they would be better.
i dont see why you cant play any game on the consoles, now that you can actually use a keyboard and mouse...
