umm... i know it doesnt play ps2 games, its really not that big of a deal, play the fricken ps2 game on your ps2...
Its not going to "destroy" anything. It is, however, going to do very well. It will probably come in second in worldwide sales, following the Wii.
i played the demo a ton and i usually am not into these types of games but the sixaxis and the options of attacking make this fun fun fun. I am picking this one up and I would suggest at least downloading this demo if you arent into this type of game because you may surprise yourself.
This is the exact reason why demos are cool, I wouldnt have thought twice about this game if it werent for the demo. However, playing the demo makes me want this game. Now i know why we never s...
I agree, with PES, COD4, Assassins Creed, Ratchet, Uncharted, Folklore, Resistance, Motorstorm, Warhawk, and HS people will pry not be too worried about bc. Next year there is KZ2, LBP, HOME, MGS, GT, and FF among a ton others. BC is nice within the first year of a console, but after that its really not used too much.
The only time I use BC now is if a title like MGS is coming out and I want to refresh my memory on the series, but I have 2 ps2's if I didnt have BC so it would...
well if it is up on the walls and doesnt flash on the screen then they will be ok. There will be movies playing, there will be billboards, but so what? They are everywhere anyway and its what will make home FREE. Yes, advertising can be annoying at times, but it makes many things free that otherwise we would have to pay for. If HOME is a hit it will be free, why you ask? Sony is generous? NO. Because of advertising.
I really dont see the difference between this and walki...
wow, a lower price PS3 is a negative... especially since its less than the elite. I can see how that could be considered a negative for some people, namely MS.
NICE! i have a feeling this demo will only solidify my purchase.
Yep yep makes sense. Asians will get the new sku first if the rumor is to be believed.
yeah and then they could be like the 360 and not allow the developers to casche on the HDD.
The US new lineup of PS3's:
160gig for 599
80gig for 499
40gig for 399
Who wants to bet?
1. Every successful console in the last 15 years introduced a new format to the gaming world. Games are going to require more space as this generation moves on. (this is one reason why i believe that MS will have a new console out by Q4 of '09).
2. You should definitely know that in the first year of a consoles life great games are hard to find and you should also know (if you have been doing your research) that the ps3 has a very good game library for it being out for less...
It doesnt need bundles, or new SKU's. IT NEEDS RELIABLE HARDWARE AND FORWARD THINKING. It lacks both at the moment.
At 399? I truly think it will. But only time will tell. There are some great games coming out this winter but next year will be the litmus test for the ps3. If by january 2009 the ps3 is still 3rd or even second I will be somewhat surprised.
a fanboy, in distress... its so so sad!
excellent bundle. people in europe will love this. Its a great price and a better bundle.
yeah it will be close! I cant understand why people think that the PS3 is so doomed and its the worst in the States. I dont know if it is just ignorance of the world around them, of the industry in general or even a little bit of nationalism, but its getting annoying. I guess the media likes to pick on the top dog.
lol you act like its already happened...
Exactly. Now that there are some huge games coming out BC is less important than it was this year.
yeah that sucker is gonna be huge in Europe.
"AAA" is a vague that lacks definition. The only way one could really categorize what a AAA title is, is going by sales totals + a possible spike in hardware sales during its release. (however, it must be noted that a sales spike doesnt mean a title is a "AAA" or that a sales spike must accompany a titles release. Because coupling a titles release with sales spikes is correlational only one must be careful making that a requirement). So, a "AAA" in my book is...
