Notice how many of these scores are for 3rd party games... they dont want to get too much flak.
However, SSBB will get a higher score than 8 even if it doesnt deserve it. There is too much hype for the game and the system at this point.
Casual gamers will eat this up. You are too old for physics/puzzle games? As for the straight thing... I am sure the jury is still out on that one.
HOME is taking so long. I highly highly doubt this game will release before HOME is up and running. I am quite sure this is the hold up but no one seems to be listening.
Although I agree with you I dont think it will be as bad as 2007's.
At least we will have MGS and GTA, both are really long games.

Anyway I think anyone with any foresight at all will say that the ps3 will have better looking games in the end.
I am still putting the 360 at around 30 million consoles sold, which is 6 million more than last generation. MS would have been better off coming out when the ps3 did.
Why is the PS3 selling better than the 360 even when the 360 has the better lineup? I think its simply brand recognition. People trust the PS brand to deliver. The xbox isnt seen as favorably as the PS brand is by anyone outside the US. People really consider the PS3 as an investment in the next 6 years and they are correct in considering it an investment.
I think the 360 came out too early. I dont think the public was or is ready quite yet for this generation of console...
the only reason why you have a problem with this chart (and any other worldwide charts) is because the 360 gets outsold everywhere else but the US. Get over it dude, its really not that big of a deal.
Well I still think that the PS3 will overtake the 360 by the end of this year or early next year. This is just strengthening my point. Where is genuine to disagree with me and call me illogical?

i have a hard time agreeing with the best multiplayer game. I also dont think that COD4 is the best game of the year on the PS3. But all the others are ok imo.
Oh yeah and Halo3 wasnt the best game on the 360 this year.
For people who have seen uncharted... we know who should have won the best graphics award.
I am guessing that COD4 won it because it is after realism and actually does a pretty good job of that. Uncharted has the best textures and lighting in a game I have seen to date.
I think the best fps belongs to COD4.
