Well, even though i think screenshot comparisons are rediculous and just for hits on a website the thing that pisses me off the most is bad screenshot comparisons. This comparison is at least a good one and actually shows how many retarded fanboys visit this site on a daily basis.
huh. If they are going to address this on the PSblog then its larger than best buy. Well, looks like they are going to try to get ps2 users to the ps3. Look for a significant price drop on the ps3 in a few weeks to a month.
well I was on the fence about this game but bought it anyway (its only 799). I too was surprised. Pick this one up, oh yeah and it works with remote play :).

well if they are dropping the 80 gig in the US (which this doesnt state btw but Best Buy usually leaks stuff early though) expect two colors of the ps3 and a price drop mid february (GDC anyone?).
With a 299 ps3 and all the games coming out expect people to say years from now that this was the year the ps3 really took off. I still expect the ps3 to overtake the 360 by late late 08- mid 09
Hey I wanted to clear something up in as nice of a way as i know how. THe fact is is that you can hardly compare HDMI 1.3 to 1.2 because less than 1% of the HD tv's as of today use it. In fact 1.3 is a huge marketing scheme and apparently too many ppl have bought into it. I am a huge ps fan but when it comes to 1.3 it was a little "too future" proof. We wont see the benefits of 1.3 until the ps4 comes out...

What platform they show has no relevance on how good the game looks or plays. For all we know MS paid them money to show the 360 version. Anyway what I am trying to say is your logic is faulty. I am not worried, nor should any other ps3 owner. At least not until we have reason to be worried.
NOw I am getting excited about this game! It sounds like most of my worries have been taken care of. It sounds like a classic GTA with a definite Next-gen twist, which is exactly what I was looking for.

I dont think its a mistake. It really doesnt matter when they give a price drop as long as its established before MS can get theres out. If its 299 well before GTA and MGS so be it, its still 299 no matter when you get it. THis would effectively take the wind out of MS's own price drop.

I couldnt agree with you more. They can take the hit on the cost of the ps3 just to ensure that their bluray players saturate the market. Not only that but they will begin to see massive gains in the console war. They have a lot of software to sell this year, $100 price drop would be a good way to start selling it.

It is feasible that they do this. They have cut the price of manufacturing of the PS3 in half. Mid to late february would make sense in order to get ready for GTA. This would be very good for Sony if they could pull it off.
maybe you should do some research before you say nothing is known about this title. Just becauase YOU know nothing about the game doesnt mean that others dont. Quit trolling.
