I love how they claim that the hype is tangible....not sure where they got that impression...don't think anyone is much hyped for a Bethesda title these days...let alone one that did not impress at all when shown.

Considering they've sold aroundd 10 million (last i checked) this means that about 10% of the user base bought it.
I'm sure it will sell more as more users get their hands on the ps5. With demons souls however being early is good because you get the chance to do lots of PvE and PvP. By the time more get access the game may not be as populated. Therefore I hope bluepoint is given the okay to create the 3rd Archstone world.

My respect towards a studio or lack thereof is irrelevant to that outcome. I know it will be good because I played the first game and from what I've seen they're at least going to be following the same or better formula. That's not respect.

I'm not against trophies and achievements. As you said it gives a track record of how much you've completed. But unfortunately many go for the simple and dumb trophies of x number of kill counts etc.
I loved returnal for instance and I confess i attempted to go for the platinum but having to go to the last biome 10x and still not find the one missing glyph or lore piece was frustrating enough to stop. Did everything else except for the randomized time killers.

That's a bad argument though. The only reason they reach so high in fps is because the game isn't demanding.
They could have reached 120fps if they wanted to but at what cost? Wholly unnecessary to go for 120fps.
