But it's not complex. It doesn't look groahically demanding either. It's poor optimization all around. Makes no sense that the most powerful cards in the market would have any struggle with this game.
Game doesn't run well on the Xbox either....nor on PC. In fact I believe it's most broken on PC. Powerful machines could barely run the damn thing.
@prof
No secret sauce. More and better games is all people are looking towards.
As usual ps5 prioritizes frame rate. Nothing new here.
I did find that hilarious when I watched the kena analysis.
They tend to say similar stuff with image quality. Like if anything looks even slightly off...it's this whole issue for them. But taking a look at Xbox one halo infinite performance and it's completely left off the hook...no matter how ugly it looks.
I beat about 85% of dark souls 3 bosses on my first attempt.
I don't think so. There are many other easier bosses.
Demons souls bosses are also much more mechanically driven which is different then just hacking away at a boss' life bar.
So if the player doesn't know to hit the ankles or isn't able to use spells to hit the head then they will very likely die a few times.
What surprised me is that it stopped them completely...why not use the co op system.
What's odd about it exactly?
They were already making games exclusively for playstation.
The only odd purchases have come from Microsoft. If their new studios fail to deliver they'll likely be closed soon after.
I'm talking about the multiplayer....we really have no clue what's the situation with the campaign.
But I assume that they must've done something different since realtime shadows alone didn't exactly resound with people.
Depends on the teen. This girls personality sees similar to infamous second son main character.
It's not everyone's cup of tea. I personally don't like it because it feels out of place. Nobody in their right mind reacts and talks like that when faced with monsters or a whole different world. It stands out more than Nathan's babbling.
@crimson
If nobody pre-ordered cyberpunk we may absolutely have gotten a very different product.
A lot of decisions are made based on preorders.
Preorders also continue to incentivize companies towards pay walling content. Gamers lose and corporate greed wins.
My thoughts too. Halo 5 was underwhelming. Was hoping halo infinite would be next gen only....but then they released the series s and you can tell that even compared to the one x...it's a last gen console in potential.
So they removed shadow maps on ALL consoles because of the Xbox one inferiority in terms of power.
So this isn't just a case of downscaling but also complete removal of graphical fidelity in order to achieve more parity.
He should be a world boss.
Game is definitely smooth....but as far as what is going on...there isn't much. Battlefield games have a lot more going on onscreen then this game.
@richie
No salt. What salt? Bethesda has gone down hill since Morrowind by making shallow rpg games with horrible combat.
@lightning
I'd say an article talking about the hype might cause some conversation about this hype...doesn't mean there is hype.
@synthetic
Yes I agree one bad title doesn't destroy them. But for me it's actually been 5 bad titles after Morrowind. But I'm optimistic for a decent game. I acknowledge the Bethe...
You're right about one thing. That zenimax acquisition made me really dislike Microsoft.
Glad they made it clear to me what their priorities are. Throwing money around and hope something sticks.
A certain company did buy a multitude of world renowned studios. That doesn't happen all the time.....in fact it never has....usually it's 1 maybe 2 studios.
@colt
A few can not create this "tangible" hype.
You don't have to tell me that...I'm fully aware of what games can run at these resolutions and what games can't...on both systems mind you.
It is simple logic. The more demanding the game is on the hardware the lower the max resolution and fps will be. Both systems are similar and power and therefore both with have very similar outputs...it'll depend on developer and console priority.
That's not it. Same deal with other souls games so there is a pattern.
But with a ton of guides, cheeses and a co op system there really is no excuse. Especially not for a mechanically driven boss.
