A better analogy would be if they made a Luke Cage game and made you play as white guy. People don't care its a black character they just said historically there weren't many there. Yet the game advertised a black character. So might be silly but it makes sense. Kind of like the last samurai just happened to be a white dude named tom cruise. Not very accurate.
Different architecture means console ports will prob not happen. Then again it means a lot of android ports. Would help grow the tablet market since these chips are popular in gaming tablets already. It's basically a Shield tablet with Nintendo ip's (which isn't a bad thing the shield tablet rocks). I'm in if it costs 250 or less, any more and il wait and see. Been burned by the New 3ds, WiiU, and the Wii. Fool me twice and all that.

Runs like a dream. GTX 1070, I7 6700K, and 16 GB DDR4 ram. Running at 1440p on Ultra and it's been smooth as butter. Bethesda nailed it.
I hope they did DS4 has terrible build quality and battery life. I like the ergonomics but my thumbsticks have peeling rubber and the controller drains in two hours. Xbox controller vs DS4 is like a Bentley compared to a Honda Civic. Its one area where MS is unrivaled for sure. I do respect the wiiu pro controller for insane battery life though. That thing lasts a month darn near. If DS4 has that i would love it.
Pro will be kick ass but i will buy a xbox slim over it because i already have a ps4 but don't have a xbox and the UHD Bluray is a must have for me. The pro is tempting but i will wait for the ps5 in two years. I can already game in 4k on pc so i only have a ps4 for a few exclusives here and there. Not a big deal to play them in 1080.
Most people bought this, recore, and gears 4 digitally for the play anywhere. Its how I will buy all xbox games from now on also. Pc and xbox for one purchase is a killer deal.
One of the best games ever IMO. It's easily as good as Alan Wake so if you enjoyed that, this is a no brainier. Remedy are every bit as good as Rockstar or Naughty Dog but people seem to hate them and their games. I think its because they make exclusives for MS. On ps4 this would've gotten 10's across the board.
It's been dead for years, same as the WiiU. Il never buy anything other than a main console from Sony from now on. No VR, handhelds, mid gen console upgrades exc. They will drop support so quick and leave you with a paperweight. I won't buy a Nintendo system either until a few years in when there's more than a few games I want. Burned by both these.
Who buys a console with no amazing games aka the killer app? It's called a system seller for a reason. All these demos won't sell me a 500 dollar headset plus the 400 needed for a ps pro.
I would love to buy one but I doubt it will get a killer app. If it were possible to make something like Uncharted or Bloodbourne work they would've launched with it. The experiences are amazing but they're that, experiences, not games. The ones that are games are 10 dolla...

Game looked half baked from the first gameplay. Totally dismissed it personally but then I played it myself. Man this game is amazing! It sucks nobody bought it because it could be a killer franchise. It's the only game like Metroid Prime I've played, it has the best platforming in a long time, and good characters and art design. Loved it to death. If they fixed some small issues and invested more it could be a killer system seller for people like me.

Uncharted 4 is def more impressive with the models and landscapes BUT Gears is far more jaw dropping with the amount of chaos going on and weather effects exc. Both are showpieces for each system and incredibly fun mp games.
Going through an electrical tornado in Gears fighting two dozen enemies while everything is rolling through the landscape with planes and choppers flying around watching the wind suck up the enemy corpses gave me the same wow factor as Gears 1 on the 36...

Lol. I respect opinions but a 6? IMO this is the best racer ever made. Its massive, open world, beautiful, online integration, and filled with content. It's the most fully featured and beautiful racing game ever made and its fun as hell to boot. I dislike racing games but am hooked on this title. Whatever, another day another hit seeker.
Looks identical tbh. Game looks amazing anyways but its nice to have a 4k mode or a higher settings mode unless that was it then idk, seems fairly minimal. This game was ridiculous maxed out at 1440p/4k so this is not even close to the best experience but I doubt anyone would notice unless its side by side in real life. Glad more people will enjoy this. Best game released last year easily. Game on.
I'm so hyped for this. I forgot how amazing Gears is. Best TPS by a country mile and its got more content than the competition. Campaign, hoard, mp with tons of modes, and everything is coop and Splitscreen with cross platform play between pc and xbone. I was hoping Uncharted 4 would've had this much content but it was so barebones I lost interest quick despite the mp being my favorite of the generation so far. Console was stillborn and Nintendo was in denial. Should've dropped the gamepad as mandatory and sold it for 200 bucks and also sell a digital version without a disk drive for 129 and it would've sold through the roof just for extra netflix and Mario in the spare room. I would've bought it for sure.
