Not bad. I have a 1070, 6700k, 16gb ddr4 and I'm on 1440p. Could do 4k but don't want 30 fps or to turn down settings. This is insane for 400 dollars. I spent 1200 or so on my rig a month ago. Still a pc is the way to go IMO and il keep the of ps4 for exclusives.
Ps5 will launch 2 years from now so the wait won't be bad at all. Once Scorpio hits Sony will have to respond. Were what three years into the gen and I expect it to be a 5 year gen. This is a stop gap to stay relevant with pc gaming booming and 4k tvs starting to take off. Its a no brainier if someone has a 4k set or is buying a ps4 anyways. For me il wait unless there's a 250-300 dollar trade in.
I stream all my content BUT, a 4k player is extremely important to me as data usage is basically impossible for streaming 4k for almost everybody. 6-7 gigabytes an hour. You could burn through 300gb's in a week just watching Netflix then add in downloading games, online play, and patches. Were looking at over a thousand gb's a month for an average single user. Its crazy. Which is why I would still rent 4k blurays and buy 4k anime when available. Otherwise I'd stick to 1080 streami...
No 4k bluray is an EPIC FAIL. Even the xbox slim has it. Otherwise I'm pleasantly surprised at some footage but they were very vague about specifics. Do all games support 4k? What's the native res? After PS Move, 3D Games, and Vita anyone who buys this is a fool. It will sell well at first and people will realize real full games aren't possible with minor exceptions. I wasn't angry but totally apathetic. When the game was announced I was super hyped (for good reason its the best game from last year) but I didn't own an xbone or pc and one game isn't enough for me to buy one. Glad I built a rig. I've has ps plus since it launched and I stacked up on years when they were on sale for 20. Let my subscription expire a year ago and only renewed for dark souls 3 and uncharted 4. I will never pay for it again. Sony lost me. Dude my launch dual shock 4 lasts about three hour MAX charge gaming. It's the worst controller I've ever had period. Also the rubber fell off the analogue sticks. Its a cheap POS. Your literally the only person over seen say something positive about the DS4.

Same. Just bought a i7 6700k and it rocks. Its my first build ever and I wish I did it a long time ago. I really hope AMD is somewhat comparable to the latest intel chips so I can support them. I would've bought their cpu over Intel and their gpu over nvidia but they didn't have a comparable gpu either. I went i7 6700k and a gtx 1070 and it smokes anything period. Love it. Now I won't upgrade for 5 years so they lost me as a customer until then. Early bird something something.
