People who love movies are film buffs, football fans (or soccer for you Brits) identify by teams ie Packer fans or Bears fans (if they exist, its Chicago for Pete's sake), people who love golf are golfers, people who love liquor are alcoholics, people who love sex are sexaholics, chocoholics exc. Some are negative if used for an addiction, some are "normal" if describing interest in a hobby. Its all just a word to describe something your passionate about.

Of course it will. Handheld games will compete with big name ps4 titles. It doesn't really matter though because there's no incoming vita titles anyways so there's nothing to lose. It is super cool to be able to do this but at home il play on tv and on the road I'd rather play handheld titles I can't play anywhere else like Persona 4 Golden, SMT4, Fire Emblem Awakening, Devil Survivor, Project X Zone exc (can you tell I love RPGs?). I only see it being popular with people ...
One of the best Indy games ever made. It was phenomenal in 3d also, really awesome. It added so much IMO. Glad vita owners get to play this game. BUY IT!
Good game. I don't like it as much as Vesperia and I'm not diggin the 3d models vs cell shading look of past games but damn is that collectors edition dope. Really glad I bought it.
I have one and its on life support. The only upcoming games are Tearaway, KZ, and FFX remaster which comes with X-2 on ps3 (but I want it on the go). FFX is the only must buy and its a rerelease.
Compare it to the 3ds lineup and its like 5 mediocre titles vs 50 amazing titles. Its on Sony not Namco to make people buy a Vita. Sony needs to release games or it will be destined to become the 250 dollar ps4 controller.
Put Naughty Dog, Santa Monica, Sucker Punc...
Def pick Ni No Kuni, Fire Emblem Awakening, or SMT4. All three are far better games IMO. As good as TLoU was it was a mass market shooter like a million others. Ni No Kuni was wholly original. I got 3/4 of the way through TLoU and got bored, it wasn't really fun. SMT4 I CAN'T put down. That's the difference.
FFX
Lost Odyssey
The Last Story
Three of my favorite soundtracks ever and three of my fav theme songs ever. The music is flat out beautiful, emotional, inspiring, and it truly does stir the soul. This man is one of the most brilliant composers ever rivaling the classical greats.
LOL @ calling GTA a masterpiece. Even TLoU (which I loved) isn't anywhere near a masterpiece. I lost interest and moved on to SMT4 3/4 of the way through.
Comparing GTA to Metroid Prime, OOT, ALTTP, Wind Waker, Xenoblade, Super Metroid, Paper Mario TTYD, DKC, Earthbound, Fire Emblem Awakening, Majoras Mask, Super Mario World, Mario 64, Path of Radiance exc is insulting. Your card should get pulled for speaking such blasphemous words of ignorance on a site for gamers. A g...
Indies aren't that important, its the big AAA games like MGS, FF, Lost Odyssey, Fire Emblem, Xenoblade, Quantum Break, Ni No Kuni exc that sell me on a console. Sure smaller dlc titles def help sway me but its more of a bonus to the big stuff. That said the 360 had it going on early on due to dlc games like Braid, Limbo, Shadow Complex, Bastion, Defense Grid, Splosian Man, Castle Crashers, Geometry Wars, Toy Soldiers, and the ps3 had some good ones like Flower, Dead Nation, and recently J...
Idk honestly the 3ds is prob my fav system I've had purely because it has the games I like. I loved my 360/ps3 and still do but there's no games like Fire Emblem, SMT, Kid Icarus, Zelda, Devil Survivor exc. if Nin can get the devs to put series like SMT, Etrian Odyssey, FF, RE, DQ, basically the games we don't get to see often these days they will at least be a must have even if as a second system. They already have DQX, SMT x Fire Emblem, and Monoliths X coming so its up to a goo...
I'm a huge jrpg fan and a huge Tales fan but I agree its a B series. That doesn't mean some entries like Symphonia and Vesperia aren't spectacular. Its just not every title is spectacular and they haven't been able to have that breakout game where the story, characters, world, and everything comes together and is really memorable (although Vesperia had the characters and beautiful scenery). Xillia seems like it might be the one to set the bar for the series though, looks absol...
God I've been dying for a beautiful sprite based FF. The 3ds would be perfect for one IMO. Even with something like 15 they could still do old school things like an airship, world map exc. Ni No Kuni is the perfect example of a modern jrpg that still feels "classic" if you will. Its like a HD snes rpg. It isn't hard, Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Tales all had a world map, airships, boats, exc. keep some staples of the series around. Just because tech moved on doesn't mean ...
SMT4, DQX, DQ7 remake, Xenoblade, The Last Story, Xenoblade 2, Etrian Odyssey, Fire Emblem, Project X Zone, Tales of Xillia, Ni No Kuni, FF15, FF 13-2, Kingdom Hearts DDD, Devil Survivor, Lost Odyssey, Resonance of Fate, Magna Carta 2, SMT Soul Hackers, Valkyria Chronicles, Persona 4 Golden exc.
Best gen ever for jrpgs IMO. Yes big budget console jrpgs have dried up compared to the last two gens but there's still amazing ones releasing and the portables have been on fire...
3ds all day every day. Vita has good hardware but no games. The only standout is Persona 4 which is a port. I can't name one other game that's as good as Fire Emblem, RE, Kid Icarus, SMT4, Kingdom Hearts DDD, Devil Survivor, Etrian Odyssey, MH Tri-g, Code of Princess, MK7 exc. the only upcoming games are KZ, Dragons Crown and FFX, one of which is a port. 3ds has a sequel to Zelda ALTTP, Mario and Luigi Dream Team, Pokemon, Etrian Odyssey 5, MH4, Dragon Quest 7 remake, Bravely Default ...
Damn this is one of if not my fav handheld rpg ever and quite possibly fav jrpg (up there with Xenoblade, Lost Odyssey, FFX, and i like it far more than P4 Golden even). Its not that past SMT games weren't good because they were but this just has that extra polish and shine similar to Fire Emblem Awakening. Both FEA and SMT4 were great series before but the newest games made them accessible, more visually appealing, quicker, streamlined, better production values, deeper story and characte...
I got the first from ps plus but haven't tried it yet. Seeing the characters in Project X Zone got me interested though. The setting seemed awesome and im interested to find out about these "God's Eaters" (a joke from PxZ).
Its not a MH killer but seems like its own thing and good on its own merits. MH4 will absolutely destroy this though. The first new MH in like 4-5 years (tri for wii) and it looks ridiculously awesome. I hope this releases in the states. ...
Atlus USED TO release amazing titles on the ps2 but that was 10-15 years ago. They've switched to the more profitable market the 3ds and havent looked back. Sony fans think that because one main SMT game released for ps2 the series is a ps series lol (SMT 1/2/Strange Journey/4 are all on Nintendo consoles). The last new game Sony got was P4 on the ps2 meanwhile atlus pumped straight dope into the ds/3ds.
SMT games released since P4 and after the series left ps...

All Atlus games are on Nintendo systems these days anyways, hasn't been a new SMT game on a Sony system since the ps2. Etrian Odyssey is on Nintendo and most other ip's. If they can't stay third party I'd like Nintendo to buy them so things stay the same.
The argument over censorship is dumb, that was 20 years ago. Was Strange Journey censored, Devil Survivor, Devil Survivor 2, Soul Hackers, SMT4 exc.? No. Is Bayanetta 2 toned down? Nope. What about Resident ...
Game is easily my favorite SMT ever. Simply amazing.
Think Xeno (xenosaga/xenogears) with a faster more fun version of FF12's battle system. Mix in a stellar story, characters, an extremely massive world with hidden bosses and some of the coolest most beautiful locations in any game and there you have it. Its also streamlined to take any frustration out so when you die you restart from the closest landmark, there's fast travel, and there's also an extremely deep system to build towns and relationships. Its one of the best RPGs ever ...
