I have a problem with these HD remasters Sony likes to release. Its the same game with a higher resolution, nothing else.
Remakes like this, Halo CE, Fable, OOT, Star Fox 64 exc are all awesome. For one they are all classics games and they also went all out. New graphics, textures, features exc. Compare Wind Waker which looks like a new game to GOW 2 which looks like a less blurry release of the exact same game. One was a labour of love while the other was a cash grab.
Its your business though. I don't expect every niche game but when big titles like Fire Emblem 12, Soma Bringer, Ni No Kuni ds, Valkyria Chronicles 3, Persona 2 psp, and FF Type 0 don't make the cut something's wrong. Especially when fan made translations were made for free. Come on people I don't need voice acting just the games.

I've always agreed that games like this are sold by nostalgia alone. Taken on their own merits theyre 8-16 bit, fugly, old school games just for sake of being old school. They have no pretty art and they could've been better looking but they didnt because looking retro is all they have going for it. This game may be good as its kind of a parody but I'm not interested in paying 10-15 dollars for a 20 year old "modern" game.

Release some games. Nintendo needs to realize that they don't have third party support so the console is surviving off only their games. As a gamer I expect a steady flow of good games all year long, the WiiU gets four or five a year compared to twenty or thirty good games on other systems. I think this is awesome. Look at how successful workout DVDs are and how well they work. Some of us need motivation and don't want to work out in public. This lets me follow different routines, have someone motivate me, track my performance, and actually respond to me and how well I do. Its really cool. WiiU owners are lucky to have a third party supporting it so well. Its the best third party support they've had since Capcom released a few GameCube exclusives. Its a unique game, colorful, has an awesome 80's cartoon/comic book art style, and has epic fights with tons of variety. I also have to mention the amazing humor. Much is aimed at young children but there's honest to God gut busting roll on the floor laughing moments. Its fun.

That's the one thing that turns me off SF. They totally took too much from Crysis, the color pallet, open world ish, the power suit, hell it looks more like Crysis 4 than KZ. Outside of graphics it has nothing I love from KZ. Seems far more generic.
Nice to see GG catching up to the standard Halo and Gears set a generation ago. I mean that in a good way, I've always loved KZ but 3 and Mercenary are 4-5 hour campaigns and lacking any extra modes like hoard or firefight. Outside of mp there's no longevity.
Also what's up with the season pass if maps are free? Is it going to be pay to win? What else could they charge for?
