Looks straight garbage TBH. I'd rather a new hack n slash ip or an original Zelda idea instead of a reskin of DW. Maybe let Platinum make a Fire Emblem game. That would be a better fit.
Still may be fun if they make diverse levels with awesome setpieces and bosses with skills to learn and combos to unlock. So far it seems like you fight a thousand of the same enemy in a boring, flat, open area. That gets boring way too fast.
Nintendo has a boatload of first party games and few third party games.
Sony and MS have a few first party games and survive off third party games.
Neither approach is wrong. Nin has to survive off their games because they lost support three gens ago. The others have to survive off third parties because they dont enough first party games good enough to sell systems.
Third party support is prob more important because there's something fo...
So your saying The World Ends With You, SMT4, Persona 4 Golden, Etrian Odyssey, Xenoblade, The Last Story, Lost Odyssey, Strange Journey, Devil Survivor, Resonance of Fate, Radiant Historia, Rune Factory, Ni No Kuni, Tales of Xillia, and Mario and Luigi Dream Team are all the same?
That's like saying Fallout 3 and COD are the same because they're both first person and use guns.
Its like saying Skyrim, Fable, Jade Empire, Kotor, Mass Effect, and The ...
Yea dude this game is that good. Its the best game of the past ten years IMO. Its the best Zelda since OOT and reminded me of why I love the series and Nintendo. After Loving OOT and adoring Wind Waker I lost interest in the series. All the games were good but I felt like TP and SS were reskinned WW games. It didnt help that the console hardware was similar for a decade. The games followed the same pattern and the only innovation was the change in artstyle and controls. Motion ruined SS which...
I would think they would show Bayanetta 2 to try to let the mainstream market know the WiiU has games like it. Everyone already knows it has DKC, Mario, Zelda, exc. I think the new Zelda will be saved for e3.
X and SMT X Fire Emblem would be great choices but Bayanetta 2 would be the best for gaining exposure outside of established Nintendo fans (the only ones buying the console at the moment).
Yea Sony tried to steal the rights to all of Nintendo's ip's. Its like if Foxconn agreed to produce the Ps4 but wanted the rights to all of Sony's intellectual properties, a percent of every console sold, and to still get paid for manufacturing the system.
Or better yet if AMD agreed to make the Ps4 gpu but only if they received rights to all Sony games so they could make PS exclusives available to PC users who buy AMD parts.
Nintendo was right t...
Its pretty damn good honestly. When he does the gruff Snake voice at the beginning saying Kaz he sounded like Snake for real. But if that's the case and he sounds like Snake why change the voice if he's going to try to emulate the classic VA?
All around odd decision. I bet he's going to play Snake in the film and Kojima wanted to create a universe of film and games that are coherent. Kojima has always wanted his games to be accepted in the same way films are and ...
I bet they don't even add those classics to the store but only through gaikai which means we will have to repurchase them. Hopefully not though. Its just odd the ps4 has no ps1 or ps2 classics on the store and no psn titles from ps3 except for flower and sound shapes which are on vita also. Might wind up seeing only new content on the store which sucks, I miss full bc and even arcade game bc.
The service could be something amazing though. I loved onlive's sub which w...
Barely works for me also. Tried through the net, at home local connection, away from home exc but only AC4 works and that's due to slow gameplay. Anything fast like KZ and Resogun is unplayable and laggy. I have amazing Internet and an amazing router. Its just not a great feature right now. It needs patches for sure and it should've had the same connection as a WiiU. That works perfectly without lag while remote play loses connections, freezes, is laggy, and just doesn't work.
True. I love Nin because of their high standards but I'd love a new handheld Fire Emblem every 18 months, a new 3s and 2d Zelda alternating every year, a 2d and 3d Metroid alternating every year, and a new Kid Icarus every 18 months or two years (all on 3ds mind you). For big console releases every three years for Zelda, Metroid, Fire Emblem, and Xenoblade would be fine. Mario is already annualized and it does fine although the New series has become genric but that's due to using the ...
Remote play is awesome in theory but it just doesn't work that well. Sometimes it will work okay other times its laggy and unplayable with dropped connections. One game may run fine one may not work for a damn.
I was honestly expecting something like the WiiU seeing as the vita and ps4 were made together for this feature and both have decent hardware. I'm pretty letdown. AC4 works decent when I can connect though. Still if you want offscreen play buy a WiiU and don...
Not to great tbh. I didn't realize its just one massive dungeon for the whole game. Fun combat but poor story, bad graphics, no meaningful exploration or hidden areas, and only one environment for the most part. So far I'd give it a 7 or so (about 10-12 hors in). Not much else on the vita though rpg wise though and the limited edition is a really amazing package overall.
Oh man they're fixing my major gripe with this game. Bots one has always been a series staple and I prefer it to unwind without pressure. Thanks GG!
It looks amazing for sure. Plays well too but its different than past KZ games. Plays, looks, and feels like Crysis. I found it pretty boring so far but il keep playing to see if it gets better. I prefer the gritty intense feeling of KZ2 and to a lesser degree 3. This is too colorful and open for KZ.
Same. Played Resogun for two levels, Contrast for 30 minutes, and borrowed KZ to try out for an hour or two and test Remote Play (which looked good but had horrible lag every ten seconds or so making games unplayable). After that I downloaded Netflix . Won't touch my Ps4 until next year prob when MGS, FF, and hopefully some unannounced ip's drop.
I bought it knowing it will have a great library down the road. Might as well start buying next gen versions of games now ...
Took too damn long. Now I'm not even hyped or interested except maybe for the vita version of X. Next gen is here so why will I buy a remake of a ps2 game for ps3 when il be gaming on a ps4?
Square needs to learn how to make games in a quarter of the time. This only needed six months to remaster, even Wind Waker a full on remake too around that.
Prob the MGS skin. Def underwhelming.
Any gamer would be stoked if they've seen Monoliths new game, Bayanetta 2, SSB, or MK8 footage. Its worth it just for Wind Waker HD and offscreen play on games (especially when they patch in gamepad controls for wii games).
Kids love Sonic, Mario, MK, and Donkey Kong. Plus it has COD for the kids who just want to shoot sh**, Arkham Origins, and AC4 for multiplats. Not really a big system for multiplats but it has enough so kids won't miss out coupled with amazing firs...
Wow that's slow. The 360 has a faster and sleeker dashboard by far. Hopefully the new features make up for it. I want instantaneous switching between apps, no loading menus, and multitasking where a game is running minimized and the web browser is open also or vice versa. Del looks better than the ps2/3 os though. You can tell Sony took major influence from Ms with the new OS and ps store which is good. I'm not sold on the camera just yet. I'm not expecting a xbone Kinect experien...
I have to charge the DS4 every time I play, it sucks. That and the annoying light on it. Other than those two things I love it. Still prefer the xbone controller but I do wish it had a built in battery. Having the option of using my own rechargeable battery pack is nice because over time the built in will store less charge. I have to charge my DS3 every few hours because the battery went to shit. Both have pros and cons, which is more comfortable and ergonomic is debatable.
