mine died the day red dead and alan wake came out, bought them both, went home and as soon as the 360 turned on I got the RROD
They could be taking this moment to combine the two games, instead of a multiplat 'Battlefield Bad Company 3' and a PC only 'Battlefield 3', I could see them dropping 'bad company' from the moniker and making the next one just 'Battlefield 3' on all 3 platforms. I'm thinking the money is too good in multiplat for them to make an only pc BF3 nowadays, as sad as it is for many PC players.
As a 360 owner IMO kinect is gonna suck
laaaaaame, stop being so god damn lazy dice and make some real "new" maps, instead of rehashing the same maps into different(& less popular) game modes. Battlefield is about the huge battles, not about 4v4 infantry matches. Give me some decent conquest maps that actually follow the BF formula for once.
spoiler alert - most games have shitty endings.
they definitely shouldn't have launched it the same day/week as red dead redemption. I got both on launch day but still haven't taken the plastic off of alan wake.
yep, used 10.4a last night with my 4870, maps went from like 50 second loads to less than 10.
uggh, I play BF for big games, I wish there was at least 1 rush or conquest map.
Give us a NEW conquest map, make it huge, put all kinds of vehicles-choppers, tanks, boats, etc.
The guy who traded that game is probably saying "Daaaamn, that's where I put it".
well I might just have to fire this up again, but I'm not buying lost and damned and gay tony again(have 360 version too)
this is why I've supported Dice since 1942. the game not the year.
at least us pc users are getting dedicated servers with this instalment.
tilt shift isn't a "mode" you can switch a camera to. It can be achieved with many cameras, as long as you are using a tilt shift lens.
dude just needs to quit playing MW2, you can tell that's all he's worried about.
Bad company 2 will be keeping me too busy in march, but in april or may hopefully this will go on sale on steam, then I'll check it pick it up. I bought the first one used for 360 after never hearing of it and seeing it in a pile of discount games. and while I lost interest in the campaign fairly soon it was still a really impressive sandbox experience, especially considering it was a last gen multiplat too.
high prices and limited availability, exactly what everyone was always expecting
except this DRM isn't going to effect the pirates, it will be cracked just like every other game and then the only people the DRM is going to effect is all the legit paying customers.
Im pretty glad I bought this on 360 now instead of waiting for the PC version.
Congratulations, your special new DRM will probably slow down hackers from leaking a cracked version for maybe 20 minutes, while all the paying customers will have to deal with ridiculous DRM system the entire life of the game.
Plus it's really stupid that the PC version was delayed so much and they still have the mind to remove DX10 graphics and give DX9 only, especially when AC1 for PC had DX10.
yeah because being limited to DX9 graphics and 720p(and lower) resolution is the bees knees...
maybe it's because intel has their chips in way more prebuilt computers than AMD does? most people don't build their own system.
