I think this will be the cure to quick time event button presses. At least we will now be able to mimic the actions the on screen character is performing with fingers on the back pad instead of pressing X, A, B, X.
while it is a new screen shot (direct feed capture rather than taking a still from a compressed video trailer), it's pretty much the same content.

I think they just love all the free marketing they get from Microsoft on multiplats. Sure that powerful GTA/Battlefield ad might have a big 360 logo at the end, but the PS3 owner isn't gonna disregard that game or run out and get a 360 to play it, they will just say "Oh I'm gonna get that for PS3", the ad still does it's job of showing you the game even though it's paid for by the other platform.

All these games are lacking depth of field blur, granted some don't need it, but in shooters it adds a lot of photorealism and has been around since the first 360/ps3 games. Something was bugging me about this footage before when they touted NGP being "as powerful as the ps3" and I think that this lack of DOF blur is to me the most noticeable difference that makes these graphics sub-ps3. Dual analog sticks, 4x res screen, quad core cpu & gpu, and most underrated I believe is the 5" touch screen. If this has a decent web browser and some app support I could see this biting into even the tablet(ie ipad) market

piracy sucks, but of all the consoles to be hacked PS3 is probably the one that should be. Only so people can use linux and utilize the power of the cell processor for other things like they used to be able to. but d-bags will be d-bags and of course there will be pirates. I don't see the point when 95% of my gaming fun is from online multiplayer which you don't usually get with pirated copies.
First FO3 DLC was crap, I'll pass until a DLC like Brotherhood of Steel for FO3 is released.
