I thought physx on gpu was cool, until a couple weeks ago when I saw the paltry list of games that support it. Most of them were obscure titles I haven't really heard of and there wasn't really anything notable or worth making the physx part actually a deal breaker when choosing between ati and nvidia. (I'm planning a build with ati card soon)
@StanLee
I think you mean FO3 'tries to emphasize' choice. Yes there are choices but less than a handful actually mean anything and the consequences of picking either path are fairly similar.
Don't get me wrong, I bought FO3 on launch day and bought all DLC's. while being an awesome game, it still doesn't feel like the choice is a big deal in it, even if that's what the devs were going for.
So with that FO3 for me became atmosphere(which I have no problem with other game...
yeah I'm pretty sure I just played like 9 months of a game where I was running around killing people in a blown up washington DC.
Also you don't hear outcry when TV fiction like '24' have terrorists take over the white house and have gun battles, but when videogame fiction has it you expect an outcry.
I'm a 360 owner, not the biggest halo fan but I have halo 3, but I don't think Im gonna pay for this.
6 hour campaign? How can a game get a 9.5 with only a 6 hour campaign? maybe if the multiplayer was all new content but all of the maps are old except 3. ODST was peaking my interest but now it doesn't seem like you get a whole lot of value for your buck with it.
I'm going to wait for the super prestige edition, I hear that one comes with a full working AR15 assault rifle and ammo.
looks smooth for DS. too bad the characters are sprites though...
they have a Guinness record for anything these days. I bet they made it up just so batman would win it
I think it will help out a lot, as a 20gb 360 owner myself I'm tempted to trade in and switch. The 120gb 360 hard drive costs more than half the price of a ps3 slim now and I will not buy the HD at that price.
I think they should allow the option to install the second and third discs on the hard drive and run all of them with just the 1st disc. Though I wouldn't do it since I've only got 20gb and refuse the pay the price of the 120gb until they lower it, which is more than half the price of a ps3 in canada.
I would do hard drive installs if MS would reduce the damn HD price. My 20gb is too small to do game installs since I like DLCs. They should release a 500gb drive and drop the price on the 120gb to like $50.
I just finished it, it wasn't that bad, I ended up missing a few things in it like a couple of the unique weapons and I never took the medic with me into the cryo lab(apparently he can make you special grenades and mines). I still liked it better than anchorage and it was about on par with the pitt(broken steel and PL being the best ones).
Although I do have to call out on the headline of this N4G story, no where in the article do they say it is the "worst add-on so far".
I don't really care about them, it's all about the games. NXE was a good update from the old menu last year, but it's nothing I rushed to download as soon as I could.
I know pcs are already a few steps ahead in terms of graphical horsepower, but I would still rather wait a couple years before the new consoles to get something that makes current pc hardware(& crysis) look last gen.
-keep physical media, I don't want to download games that are 30-50gb+
-have the hardware so games actually run at 1080p
-Engineer the online aspect so multiplayer games can easily have large amounts of players, 100 minimum.
If that was what we had in ...
my guess is they are just using the old release date on that site, BC2 was initially supposed to be out this November but was pushed to next year a few months ago.
The link was posted early, 1943 & trial won't be available until tomorrow when it's released(usually around 5AM eastern time).
They better not be having these problems when it's released tomorrow, I've been waiting for this game.
yeah this is way more than a port of a 7 year old game or just BF42 with destructible trees. If you ever played BFBC you would know the frostbite engine on top of having current gen graphics and ridiculously good sound in comparison, also has better netcode than all of the PC BF games ever had. The gunplay and player movement is a lot better because of it. As a BF fan since 42 the responsiveness due to netcode on all the PC games was always my biggest gripe.

us xbox users had a day of maintenance not even a week an a half ago.
doh!
who cares, release 1943 already!
fallout 4 using rage engine?
greedy assholes, people pay the price for the hardware because they want to keep up with the software.
Especially with the hard drive, I've got a 20gb 360 and obviously need more now but I'm not going to pay the $170 or $180CAD it is for it.
