when I got the free code with my GPU I thought I was getting the old one ark. asylum, I was stoked to see it was the new one. I can wait the extra month, though I'll be pretty busy with bf3.
aaaand bought it. I needed a decent looking DX11 game to test out my new GTX570 anyways.
I think I've done this twice with the extra c4 spec and 5 placed c4 packs. I was wondering if everyone else crashed too, as soon as I pull the detonator my xbox freezes on the flashpoint frame.
Must be pretty well optimized for DX11, my 4870 is near the same power as the 5770 but only supports DX10 and chugs at higher settings at 1680x1050. gtx570 on the way tho :)
Didn't realize the cutoff for pre-ordering and getting early beta access was yesterday. Oh well 2 more days to enjoy BF2 mod Project Reality I guess.
yeah kinda funny that FPS is in the name of the product yet he tested it on no FPS game
I traded that in while it still had at least 50% value, IE 2 weeks after launch. S'alright though, my 360 doesn't want to read discs more, I'll be preordering on origin and playing BF3 the proper way anyways.
look at all the pretty pictures... But really I hope these guys don't get paid to make game trailers. Yeah it looks nice but how about showing all that hard work you put in by, I don't know, show someone actually playing the game with the mod? Not just static shots of traffic and pedestrians going by. If you spent all your time modding to stare at traffic and buildings why don't you take 15 steps outside and you will see a much more photorealistic environment.
Thats all I could think of watching after that in the trailer: "Is that de_dust?"
@karlnag3 Warning. that's a sure way to alcohol poisoning.
I hope its the ak47. Yeah they have the "updated" ak74m but that uses a smaller round. The AK47 is the most common AR you see in conflicts these days
Meh. I'll wait to pickup DLC when it goes on sale for the cheap on steam anyways
battlefield needs dedicated servers. multiplayer would never work if it was peer to peer.
My 4870 still does decent at native res(1050p) and mostly high settings with some AA (i7 & 12gb helps too)
Not all hope is lost, you just have to use bootcamp and play games properly in windows. I use osx for work and browsing and windows mostly for gaming. Other than casual app games I wouldn't waste my time with mac gaming when it's so easy to utilize the hardware properly in windows.
Here are my top 5 reasons:
1. BF3
2. BF3
3. Skyrim
4. Rage
5. BF3
Thats what EA support chat told me earlier, I'm a level 7 veteran and they said they can't do anything, it's chosen randomly. The only hope is to be alert and around when there's another open invite wave.
on a wii balance board?
Other than the raw specs I think it would be cool if the next gen systems had some sort of built-in video capture chip for capturing gameplay and a simple built in video editor app that allows basic cuts, crossfades, titles and voiceover recording. Youtube integration and direct user sharing of videos would be very important.
With 500gb+HDs, hardware HD h264 video encoding chip and some sort of auto storage management(ex: delete old clips after accumulating 50gb of footage) ...
My guess is it is for the spec-act kits. BC2 had this and BF3 has this as a pre-order bonus at gamestop in the US.
