I still enjoy my xbox and even if it broke i would get another one. I have been happy with Microsoft for 7 years now since beta testing live and will still be happy with them in the future.
It doesn't show they have their backs at all. They have released 3 patches because they know they need to get it fixed from a business point of view, for now and future releases.

It didn't bother me one bit. I read the hype, played the level and was like 'meh' - it was kinda cool seeing some of the people trying to crawl away until i capped them but that was that.
Short but fun level, there wasn't anything bad about it compared to some stuff. A lot of hype over nothing I think.
how long is uncharted offline? I gave up on it but my friend beat it in one day so ripping on COD MW2 for the short offline time is pretty stupid.
Not to mention, ramp up the difficulty and it adds time and throw in spec ops and its a heck of a lot longer.

I have watched my wife play it for two days now with no issues what so ever. (glad I finally got the disc, those forza endurance races were giving me a blister)
The fact is the data centers at Microsoft handle all of the scores, the achievements, what your friends are doing, where they are at in the game, the additional front end stuff, the back end stuff (i.e EA's servers interfacing on the back end with xbox live) we don't see most of those problems.

agreed. it's always nice to hang at the midnight launches and get the game 8 12 hours early but this time around for me, that extra 20 bucks made the wife a happier women after I just paid 79 for for LE of forza 3 lol
The comment about 'as of right now game stop is going to make around 90 million' is bogus.
If they were given the game for free from Activision sure but they have to pay for it also. So, as of right now they don't stand to make 90 million :)

How can you disagree with the fact that I find myself unable to get used to the duel shock controller?!
I'm pretty sure I KNOW how I FEEL when I USE IT.
The reason I cant get used to the ps3 controller is the darned speed in which the thumb sticks move in your hands - they feel far to lose and the controller in a whole is too light.
Those shoulder buttons (well i guess ones a trigger but not much of one) also cause me problems. I'm so used to the placement and size of the 360 triggers, the shoulder button and 3/4 of a trigger just drive me nuts.

I just cannot use that duel shock. I have tried and tried, I just cannot get used to it after using a 360 controller. I have had a ps3 for a year now and played (I am not lying) literally 40 or so total minutes on it gaming wise.
It's just a means to stream my t.v shows from my computer to my bedroom right now.
Just because the pre-orders are not high doesn't mean that people will be out in force to buy it the day it comes out.

Look at the amount sold, the attach rate for peripherals and the attach rate for software.
Don't act like a fanboy, the proof is in the numbers and the xbox360 sells more games and more peripherals than the other systems.
I have 3 360's a ps3 and soon to be re-purchasing a wii for family reasons but my money will always go to the 360 when it comes to games available for multiple consoles.

What makes those motion controls beneficial other than the fact that 50-60 millions wiis have sold because of the very fact it has motion control.
The games in reality shouldn't be any different as long as it detects your trigger pulling finger movement and racing/steering movements etc.
