crackdown 2 and fable 3 rated lower than modnation racers (which is apparently a "flop" game). No one bought Alan wake, and splinter cell conviction took 5 years to make and 4 hours to play...yeah woop dee doo.

In terms of games, this year could go either way depending if you love master chief or kratos, but 2009, Uncharted 2 (unidisputed goty), killzone 2, infamous..yeah nuff said. 2008, LBP and mgs4 again.. no contest.

Fable 3 is average, and it has nothing to do with its scores. Its neither a good or bad game simple as that and unlike 99% of you fanboys I at minimum at least play the game I criticize, 360 or PS3.

This just straight up tells me they compared it to forza 3. gt has never been about anything other than simulation of driving, sorry that the majority of "hardcore" gamers dont actually know how to drive without steering assist and magic rewind features found in "arcade" racers. The game never sold itself as an arcade racer yet its being punished like it is.
The only time Forza 3 has better aesthetics than gt5 is when your eyes are covered in bill gates jizz.
Man I wish PD had the work ethic of Ubisoft, splinter cell conviction only took 5 years for 4 WHOLE HOURS of gameplay.

I dont have an issue with not having the characters, its just the advantage a player who has the characters have in terms of unfamiliarity in a match.
Of course anybody who wants to invest time in to the game will have no problem with buying the DLC, only the flavour of the month type players will complain.
The fact they didnt rush it out to coincide with the movie was the biggest reason it was so polished.
Some gamers like to call themselves "Hardcore" but the games they think are "fun" are the ones designed for the lowest common denominator to make you feel as if though you are awesome.
There's nothing wrong with this, but when it comes to actual skill based games, they get bashed for being boring or broken when the reality is they are beyond the average gamers comprehension and you are just not as "Hardcore" as you think.
