This guy needs to use some more commas because all of his sentences are very long without very many pauses and it's kinda like listening to a guy drone on about this and that without stopping and you wonder how me manages to talk like that without drawing breath and wish you could do the same but it still sounds kinda irritating I can just imagine the guy slowly suffocating himself as he talks because he hasn't drawn breath the entire time.
*pant pant pant*
If it were for that, then why would Blizzard make a Twitter? Right. Fallacious logic shot to hell.
There is almost NOTHING copy/paste about the 360 from 6th-generation consoles other than from itself.
And to say that Sony didn't borrow a lot of ideas from Xbox Live for the PSN is a ridiculous state of denial.
Gamers typically like to abbreviate things properly, at least... It's probably just because W.O.W looks so damn stupid. And I'll be inclined to agree.
WoW will die someday. Probably graciously, too. But if it does, it'll do so on its own, due to its own failures, and not the successes of other games.
Uh. What? Why would they introduce a new playable race in a minor content patch, of all things?
No chance. According to themselves, they're too cool for video games.
Soon™.
Warcraft has an expanded universe you know, like Star Wars. Of course there are books.
Maybe. Let's hope so; they certainly are keeping it tight under wraps.
You also have to consider that you cited Counter-Strike and ALL of its iterations, including beta and 1.6, whereas right now, we're just talking about Halo 3 as opposed to the entire trilogy. So yeah, it's a disproportionate comparison.
Now if you were to compare JUST Counter-Strike Source with Halo 3, THAT would be far more accurate. Do that, get back to me, and we'll see how long your logic holds up.
Agreed. I feel that way about Mac's. I love Mac's. But I hate their fanbase. They're mostly f*cking retarded fanboys.
@tinman_licks: I also own both consoles, and these days I play on PSN FAR more than I do on Live, so I feel qualified to answer that yes, there are fewer jerks on PSN (at first glance), but that's because there are fewer users with microphones. PS3's don't come with mic's, 360's do, thus it's FAR more likely to have many voice chatting 360 users than PS3 users. Concerning PS3 users with mics though, even though there are fewer of them, it's still the same proportion; I'd estimate around 2:1 r...
I'd love to refer you to my well-versed 13-year-old sister. Intelligent, well-reasoned, humble children exist in this world; you aggressively generalizing them into such an insulting stereotype most definitely does NOT work in their favor. Be more open-minded.
Also, he doesn't report them for the same reason that celebrities ignore their hate mail; there's just way too much of it. Do you realize how time-consuming it'd be to report each and every player that says something agains...
Well, this is the price of fame. Whether it be on Xbox Live or anywhere else in the world, if you're well-known and famous, you will have lovers and haters. This is simply reality. Fame in itself is both a blessing and a curse.
@tinman_licks: I'm sure if PSN had a community spotlight feature, those featured will be praised and lambasted just as much.
The disc was STUCK IN THE DRIVE. Read the article next time, you dolt.
Yeah. I'm glad that SOME people actually bring artistic vision into consideration when comparing graphics instead of just pure technical achievement.
Wow. What a moronic article. How the hell does being able to create imitation movie posters in a video game prove that ALL video games are "art"? What kind of stupid reasoning is that? There are SO many FAR more important things that validate Halo and any other triple-A title as being art, like the lore, the scenery, the characters, the music, the script, and the artistic vision behind all of these things, NOT just because you can make goddamn movie posters in the goddamn Forge. Tha...
Yes. This is retarded.
"somehow I think Activison are becoming the new 'EA'. "
You're very, very late.
